  • "This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, with lovely walks close to the cottage, we liked it so much that we have booked another two weeks next year."

The one and only fault we found was the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow.

  • "Like so much of countryside anywhere in the UK very slow poor wi/fi internet connection."

wonderfully tranquil surroundings just what was needed in the current stressful times.

  • "The bungalow was very clean, well equipped with quite a few extra household items that you don’t often get in self catering."

The owner was really friendly . It had a lovely homely feel to the place. The welcome tray was very nice after the long drive. The area is beautiful to explore , stunning , there’s scenic views, beaches all with about 30mins drive of each other. A weekend isn’t long enough. Wonderful short break.

  • "Very comfortable , everything we needed."

Lovely walks for the dogs, even beds for them and water bowls. Plenty of room for our 4 grandchildren and 4 g.grandchildren to visit. The conservatory was a bonus . Plenty of puzzles, games and books to keep the children amused while the grownups chat and share a bottle of wine. Would love to come again next year when we make another visit.

Good location for visiting Dundee, Perth or the coast. Kirriemuir is a nice town with a good range of independent shops plus a great park for walking and museums to visit. Would definitely return.

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The only complaint we had was the pictures of the listing do not do the cottage justice, as the location, views, size and coziness & friendliness of the host are not adequately explained;) We would rent there again!

The homemade scones were delicious as was the local butter, biscuits etc that made up our marvellous welcome pack. We were really sad to leave this lovely bungalow and very friendly owners.

Comfortable, well equipped and the scenery from every window was beautiful. Our granddaughters and the two dogs had plenty of space to play and run outside. The welcome pack was thoughtful too.

  • "What a wonderful bungalow."

There is no way can anyone fault it. The views were out of this world. Plenty of places to see and visit even at this time of the year. Just across the main road was a very good eatery called Armstrongs. All shops were within 10 miles. Local shops a couple of miles. A very good place for a relaxing holiday and the bungalow lovely and cosy

Many thanks for your feedback, we have fed your comments back to the owner in order to maintain our property standards. Easy walk is Armstrong's a very good restaurant and bar. • "From the moment we arrived we were impressed with this property."

There was a welcome pack in the kitchen which contained lots of goodies and the best surprise was a gorgeous cake that had been made by Louise's eleven year old daughter, it was delicious she should go in for the bake off! The views from all of the windows in the bungalow are spectacular and the garden is very secure, which when you have 2 dogs as we do is very important. I have a back problem and usually struggle with beds when I go away anywhere but I had no problems here. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the whole house made you feel like you were at home. We loved it here and would recommend it to anybody looking for peace and quiet, but still within an easy drive of towns and cities. Well done Louise - thank you for a lovely holiday!
