    The house was warm, homely and comfortable, with a good shower and we found on road parking nearby. Stirling Station is about 7 minutes walk and shops and bars within ten. Beautiful scenery all around and Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument nearby. Easy trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. A great week that passed too quickly.

  • "A lovely old house, spacious and furnished in style."

    Tricia made us so welcome, leaving human and dog treats, plus welcome milk and coffee. We were visiting old friends and family, so having a comfortable base in the town was great. Lovely walks around the river for our 2 little dogs, even if the weather wasn’t always good. Highly recommend this rental. Thank you so much Tricia.

It is located in a lovely, quiet part of Stirling, a mere five minute walk away from the edge of town and the bus and train stations. Stirling is a brilliant place (historic buildings; fabulous castle) and makes a great base for exploring central Scotland. Would recommend this property 100%

Ideally situated at the heart of Stirling, you will find the striking stone home of 6 Ronald Place.

Finished with traditional furnishings and charming decor, this lovely terraced holiday home provides a wonderful base for families or groups of five looking to explore the historical city of Stirling.

Be greeted into the welcoming ambience of the spacious hallway boasting a fabulous staircase and delightful paintings, where you can take off your coats and shoes before heading through to the homely sitting room.

Admire the beautiful feature fireplace as you take a seat on the traditional sofa or grab a book from the antique style case to curl up with on the armchair by the stunning mahogany chest, sitting peacefully under the window.

Head into the charming country kitchen with attractive oak cabinets and discover an abundance of handy utensils and well-thought appliances to help you in your quest to prepare a fabulous family feast for all.

Stirling is Scotland’s youngest city and yet one that has so much history, specifically Mary Queen of Scots and William Wallace. ‘He who holds Stirling holds Scotland’ was the advice that inspired many famous battles including Bannockburn, and the story of Stirling’s history is evident today in the Old Town, which also boasts family ghost walks and tales from the graveyard. Stirling Castle boasts a superb, dramatic cliff-top location overlooking the city and provides a stunning outlook from its battlements to the mountains, cliffs and winding River Forth snaking away to Edinburgh. The nearby Wallace Monument also offers breathtaking views for those willing to attempt the steps to the top! Stirling is a university town and, as such, has many restaurants, bars and coffee houses as well as extensive shopping facilities.
