  • "Really enjoyed our break @Nantusi Cottage."

It was in a good location for both travelling to the coastal resorts and also to other highlights .We visited Glamis Castle on a sunny day&saw it at its best. The grounds are beautiful and especially enjoyable for our wee dog who loved exploring there. The cottage was very comfortable and the owners very friendly. The welcome gift of wine and shortbread was appreciated as was the personal welcome visit on the day of our arrival.

  • "My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Nantusi cottage."

After a warm welcome from Lynnette and a nice welcome pack ( wine etc. ) The open plan lounge kitchen diner is comfortable and spacious, with patio windows overlooking private patio and enclosed garden. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and well fitted with wardrobes drawers and dressing table in each, the downstairs bedroom is less well fitted out as the double bed takes up most space. The cottage is situated with towns coast and countryside easily accessible by car. Overall I can recommend this cottage !!

  • "The cottage was clean and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need."

The beds were also very comfortable (had the best nights sleep). The garden was secure for our dog to go outside without worrying. The owner was very helpful. The surrounding countryside is stunning with lots of great walks and is equally central to many great places of interest. Had a super holiday and would defiantly stay here again. Highly recommend this cottage.

  • "The cottage was lovely, clean, with comfortable beds and all you need."

Has a nice enclosed garden for your furry friend and a separate enclosed garden for your children where no dogs are allowed so safe for the young ones! It's in a nice location, handy for both the mountains and the coast. The owners were friendly and available if anything was needed. Thank you for your hospitality!

  • "Lovely property."

Would recommend it to anyone who loves the peace and quiet. The only thing stopping us from coming back is the bathroom downstairs is not suitable for my husband's disability.

  • "We booked this very last minute (literally the day before arriving!"

) due to an accident with our caravan. The host family were lovely and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! The house itself has everything you need, extremely clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and the surrounding area of the cottage is just blissfully peaceful. Even though we only live an hour away we will definitely be back at some point and recommend to friends and family for a quick weekend break.

  • "Cottage is well situated for access into Dundee It’s reasonably comfortable and lovely and warm with facilities that are acceptable There is no WiFi in this cottage."

The WiFi is in the main house which you connect to and it’s very poor Not what you need with two teenagers .we had to buy them extra data which cost a lot For the price off this cottage I would have expected more and have expected WiFi actually in the cottage

  • "I spent nearly £1600-00 on 4 nights at this cottage as I thought i would treat the family to something special , the reason for paying so much was my expectation was high due the cost of other cottages on your site ."

I feel completely ripped off as this cottage did not come up to the £400 per night experience expected . On arrival the owner told us there was no WI FI ...having 2 teenagers in the party wasn't the best start , the cottage was small and cramped and reminded me of a sauna as it was timber clad through out .not to a good standard either , we decided we would make the best of it but here are some of the faults we experienced... cuboards hadn't been cleaned ..fridge filthy ..microwave hadn't been cleaned ..sofa had something sticky on the back of it ..don't believe the place had been cleaned before change over ...no washing up liquid ...no tablets for the dish washer ..no tea coffee salt and pepper ...chewing gum stuck to the bottom of the basin in the sink ...all linen and towels were tired and grey in colour...cushions on sofa thread bare ...kettle needed descaled . The site has a picture of the cottage side on but what it doesn't show is the farm building with farm materials and machinery for you to look out at in the front when you exit the cottage The bottom bedroom was so small you had to push the bed back to get the door closed then there was a sharp bit on the bed that cut my brother in law When the pool was advertised it forgot to mention that it was situated in the owners house some 100 yards from the cottage ,you had to call the owner to make sure you could get in . On New Year's Day we phoned and were told that it was closed but she would open it up for us this was not mentioned when booking , we also run out of toilet paper and were given 1 roll between 6 of us , the whole experience was unprofessional to say the least . I am absolutely fizzing with the fact I paid so much for a place I wouldn't have paid more than £600-00 for now that I have been and experienced the place . I am now waiting to hear what feedback you give me before making my next move ...your website has helped in this deception and you should take some of the responsibility for this debacle . Yours ripped off Alistair Harkness

  • "The house and grounds were lovely."

Pool jacuzzi and sauna were fantastic. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Cottage could be better equipped with utensils in the kitchen. Phone signal was really bad, having to go outside to try and get one. No WiFi or Internet access in cottage but could go upto the main house and get it. This caused problems when trying to sort out places to go and visit.
