“We really enjoined our stay in Edinburgh and the accommodation was far better than we expected for the value.”

Everything looked nice and beds were really comfy with nice soft blankets and pillows.

Everything looked nice and beds were really comfy with nice soft blankets and pillows. the only downside was getting used to the electric boiler for hot water. as the shower looked like instant heater, then we did not expect the hot water to run out mid-day, but after we read the manuals and used the booster button, it was all great! :) thank you!

“We loved the house, it was clean, spacious and comfortable and quiet.”

Two things would have made our stay even better: 1. A tumble drier 2. Instructions for the cooker hob. I have never used this type of hob before and it took.me 45 minutes hunting through the papers for all the appliances in the flat, plus Google and YouTube to realise it only worked with iron-based cookware. I had brought my own large pot with me to make broth and it transpires that it is aluminium. I was also left very upset and angry as one of the residents smashed two eggs over my windscreen one evening despite clearly displaying the flat's parking permit and a blue badge in the windscreen and a wheelchair sticker on the rear.

The property

Orchard Brae is a charming ground floor flat situated in a central location, just off Edinburgh's West-End.

This dwelling oozes a sense of charm, with an elegantly decorated interior making an ideal romantic retreat to the city, or a family getaway to the exciting area.

Completing the flat is a welcoming sitting room, boasting a comfortable seating arrangement, TV, a charming electric fire and a good selection of books if you fancy a quiet night in.

A local Waitrose can be found within a 10-minute walk, and the closest pub can be found within a 20-minute walk.

The compact, hilly capital city of Edinburgh plays host to a great selection of shops, pubs, fine dining restaurants and many attractions to explore.

Such attractions include the old fortress of Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and Princes Street, which is a great shopping location.

Edinburgh also features a large, leafy meadow which is a relaxing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the busy city in the summer.

Orchard Brae is the perfect base for unwinding of an evening after a busy day exploring the capital city.
