  • "When we arrived we discovered an amazing welcome basket with snacks, plus bread, milk, ham, cheese and coffee pods for the coffee machine."

This was great because it meant we didnt need to go shopping that afternoon. House was absolutely spotless and anything I thought we might need was already provided for us such as dishwasher tablets, cooking oil and washing machine detergent. The beds were all incredibly comfy and soft and the living room set up was great for afternoons playing games and watching movies on the tv. As for the location it is ideal, it's a quiet area yet just a couple of minutes drive to the shops. You're within an hours drive to Loch Lomond, Glasgow and Edninburgh. Overall I can't think of any improvements I would make, it was incredible to find a property like this at this price. And with all the added touches you can tell the owners really care about making sure everyone has a top quality stay at their place. 100% Would recommend.

  • "The holiday cottage was beautiful, ample room, well stocked with the things that you can sometimes leave at home, a lovely hamper on arrival."

Could not fault this beautiful cottage for anything. The only minor problem was my mum and dad said the bed was too soft! Admittedly they were too soft, but other than that our holiday was lovely. The weather was stunning too, so hot and lovely and so we took advantage of the patio furniture, for cocktails, what a delightful little gem of a cottage. We took the kids Kayaking near the local marina, well worth it, they loved it that much that they did that a couple of times. The marina restaurant / pub was lovely too, lovely decking to sit outside. We took the kids on a tree top trial, also not too far away, they also did Go Karting, also just 11 minutes drive away. We had a couple of take aways, and I especially loved the Chinese take away House of Dragon at the local village, superb food. I would not hesitate to go back to this cottage again and again. Its a big thumbs up from us!
