    “The apartment was in a great location, within walking distance of the station and all the amazing sights of Edinburgh.”

    However, we were extremely disappointed to find it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. Thick dust on every surface, especially on and around the toilet/sinks/towel rails and shelves. Not a great welcome after a long journey. The apartment is also in need of some TLC....dirty marks on walls and paint chipping off the bathroom cabinet. Such a shame as it could be stunning. We were also expecting to scan a QR code on arrival, in line with COVID track and trace guidelines. This was not at the property. The Sykes team were very quick to respond to our concerns. On the plus side, the beds were incredibly comfortable and we still had a great week in Edinburgh.
