However there are a few areas that need looked at bearing in mind that this is holiday cottage. 1. Kitchen - The floor was wet on our first day on account of a leaking dishwasher. This item was not repaired - although attempts were made - for the whole of our stay. The kitchen has no seats at the work surface which means taking breakfast in the Conservatory which can be cold or boiling hot depending on the weather outside. 2. Conservatory - For the sake of privacy blinds around the lower level would enhance the experience and also mitigate the down draft. 3. The patio area outside has no access from the Conservatory and if you own dogs they have clear access to the road or elsewhere. The patio needs an upgrade. 4. The TV in the Conservatory works most of the time but sometimes disappears with poor signal. Needs an upgrade sooner rather than later. Otherwise a reasonable property with a good location but not quite up to the standard of those on Bute which we have used in the last 2 -3 years.
