  • "We had a super couple of days here."

Lovely quirky and cosy property, very well thought out :-). We didn't use the spiral stairs as they were a bit scary(narrow and steep) for our 2 dogs; but it was fine as there was an alternative way into the property. This was also up some stairs though so people with mobility issues would struggle. Great location. Pub next door which looked very popular. Close to Church Stretton which is a lovely little town and the beautiful Carding Mill Valley great for walking. Thank you for a super stay!:-)

  • "Lovely, comfortable, spacious apartment with incredible views."

Sunny patio for sitting out. Perfect position for walkers with nearby paths onto the Great Mynd. Easy access to the main road, so good for visits to other attractions. Two good pubs very close by. Even a bus stop within 50yds, with buses to Shrewsbury or Ludlow, useful at times for getting to the start of other walks, or a visit to these interesting towns. Train station at Church Stretton. What more could we ask for?

There are two entrances to the cottage so you don’t have to use the spiral staircase which we found a bit steep. This was our first visit to Shropshire and definitely won’t be our last, there is so much to explore. Thank you to The lovely hosts Wendy and Chris.

The setting is lovely, up against the hillside and we enjoyed the use of the patio where we could watch the buzzards and other birds. It was a good location and ideal for walking on the Long Mynd. We would definitely recommend the place to others and it is one that we would return to.
