Lovely and quiet setting with loads of room outside for dogs and children. Accommodation comfortable and nicely furnished. Hosts very welcoming and flowers and homemade cake gratefully received. Beautiful area of Shropshire with lots of places to explore, plenty to do and some very welcoming pubs close by with excellent food.

We had a great time here and thought that although a single storey cottage, Cwm Head Court has some steps between levels that could be an issue if customers with walking disabilities were not aware of when booking.

Ludlow brewery tour was fun and excellent value. Many good local pubs to visit and loved the Woodburner. I guess my only comment would be to have had a fridge with small ice box to keep the ice cubes for our ‘ Apre walks ‘ .....would visit again.

  • "Great location and very quiet."

We were three adults staying in the cottage so space was fine for us. If there was 6 adults then there wouldn’t have been enough chairs in the living room and one bathroom between 6 would have been a bit difficult. But for us, it was perfect.

  • "This was the perfect location for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with nearby Church Stretton providing everything you would need."

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and toastie warm. Formerly a row of cowsheds, it has been extremely tastefully converted, and is far more spacious than the pictures might suggest. Would definitely recommend.

  • "The reason I booked cwm court was because it was full of character, dog friendly and in a quiet rural location just outside Churchstretton."

We only live 20miles away near Welshpool, but we never make time to spend in our local walking area. We used the week to catch up with friends and enjoy our lovely countryside. We had a wonderful time, doing various walks, visiting tearooms and pubs. Keith the owners' father and Cathy were most helpful. Keith directed us to footpaths and was nearby if we had any questions. The paddock for the dogs was absolutely brilliant, my two slept in the garage anyway but the house is divided up with internal doors to keep them on the tiled floors. The cottage was great, warm, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to ensure that the week went well. I have no hesitation to recommend it to friends etc. Oh and thanks for the cake when we arrived.

Our family group of adults and our very active collie had a wonderful time. The cottage is very tastefully presented. All that was missing was a selection of board games but we had brought some of our own so not a big deal.

  • "Lovely area, lovely place to stay."

Nothing too much trouble for Keith, not that there was any particular problems. If you want peace, the road is probably 200 metres away, this proprty is ideal and perfectly safe for "well behaved" dogs.

Ideal for dogs as the yard is gated and there is a large separate grassy area to use right next the to the cottage. This is our second time at Cwm Head Court and I heartily recommend it. The owners are helpful and kindly left a cake and milk when we arrived. It is quiet, dark at night and surrounded by beautiful countryside. We loved it!

If you want to be able to see the stars at night, this is the place, it's so dark! Everything was provided, it was beautifully warm in all the rooms, and the courtyard was completely enclosed so that the dog couldn't escape, also there was a lovely wild garden to walk him in. The owners were very kind, Cathy met us and showed us round, and her mum supplied us with a lovely cake! A very relaxing, cottage with very comfortable beds that hopefully we will be visiting again soon.
