"A lovely and well equipped property which was perfect for our family get away."
Great location and plenty of room to relax
"Stayed at the wonderful cottage 20th-27th oct only just got the link to leave feedback so sorry it’s late."
My family of 6 adults and our grandaughter had a great week at Ty bont . The rooms and decor high quality as was the bed linen . An abundance of towels with separated towels for hot tub
"We had a wonderful holiday break away from work in a cottage that felt like home as soon as you walk through the door."
We could immediately relax and enjoy the surroundings. Our welcome from Claire was lovely and she could not be more helpful. Perfect for dog lovers and families with children Very happy we visited and have already recommended to family and friends if they are considering visiting the Wrexham area.
"As a group of adults and a small old westie we had a brilliant stay at Ty Bont."
This beautiful cottage is tucked away from the busy Wrexham Road. A welcome package package of Prosecco, fruit cake, fresh milk along with tea, coffee and sugar were provided and thoroughly enjoyed by all.(such a lovely welcome). The property is well equipped, tastefully presented and is very spacious for a family of 8. Two double bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. One of the bedrooms upstairs has a 4 piece en-suite bathroom. There is one other bathroom upstairs and one downstairs wc. The lounge, dining room and kitchen flow well enabling family groups to socialise easily. The games room with dartboard, table football and pool table was particularly popular with the guys in our group as the games room also had a fridge to keep their beers in
"Family of 8 so much space didn’t feel on top of each other, the games room and hot tub was hit for all."
Loved how the dogs had secured area. Host was polite, helpful and the little touches left by robin and claire definitely made us feel welcomed. We will definitely book again. Miss the barn already.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
Claire and Robin were absolutely lovely and very helpful if we had any questions. A great base to go and have some lovely days out and a great pub about 2 minute walk away. The house itself was beautiful. Plenty of space for 8 people and the games room and hot tub an added bonus which got lots of use. Would not hesitate to book again.
"A great location for exploring Wales and the Welsh border."
The barn conversion was beautiful and well equipped. The owners were extremely helpful, friendly and live on site in their home further down the lane. You could hear the traffic noise from the road when in the garden of the cottage, but road noise dropped in the evenings and at night. We would thoroughly recommend this barn conversion, and would certainly visit again.
"We stayed at Ty Bont for a week as a family of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
Everywhere was clean and tidy, the bed's were comfortable and the kitchen/dining room was the perfect size for everyone to sit together. The hot tub was amazing and we used it every night as was the games room. Our son who is blind absolutely loved the pool table, it's now his favourite thing to do. There was a second fridge in the games room which came in really handy as we had a large food shop delivered. The cottage was large enough for us to have some space of our own as we were a family of 4 generations with 3 dogs and it did get noisy at times
"Had a great holiday , lovely owners and amazing accommodation , would highly recommend and we will be back"
In lovely surroundings. Immaculately kept and maintained. Owners friendly and helpful. Dog friendly walks from the door. And the local pubs are top notch. Really enjoyed our stay. Will look to return in the future.
"Without doubt this is a great place to stay."
The property is spacious, just had a week there with 6 adults and one child and never felt we were on top of each other. It is good location for heading out and seeing many attractions in the area. Robin and his wife are so welcoming, highly recommended.
"What a lovely place."
We all had a wonderful holiday in a great location, just what we needed. A big thanks to Claire and Robin for being such great hosts, with prosecco and cake ready for us on arrival. A special thanks to Robin for all the fly fishing help and advice, which led to wonderful days of fishing near by on the Dee, with stunning scenery. We hope to return in the future.
"Had a fantastic 4 night stay, the house and gardens are lovely, great place to relax and enjoy some lovely dog walks or for those abit more energetic good mountain biking trails not too far away."
We had gorgeous weather so were out and about each day, however I feel this could be a great winter location for a large family or 3/4 couples.
"We had a lovely two weeks at Ty Bont, the welcoming cake, fizz and handwritten note was thoughtful and typical of Robin and Claire’s hosting skills ."
The place was spotless and the kitchen was huge with all utensils and crockery you would need. My son enjoyed using the hot tub and games room, relaxing on the big comfy sofas by the log burner with a glass of wine after a walk with the dogs was bliss. Thank- you Robin and Claire you have a beautiful place
"Had a lovely stay in this cottage with family over Easter weekend and will definitely be booking again."
The hosts were great and the cottage was very spacious/spotless and some lovely little touches left from them. The facilities were great and everything you need to keep everyone occupied, the games room was fantastic with everything you need in it. After relaxing in the hot tub the fire in the lounge was lovely to sit around on the evening. There is also some lovely walks around the area. Would recommend anyone books this place.
"Amazing! We take trips regularly and this was by far the best home we have have stayed in."
Gorgeous cottage, everything was the best quality, a real home from home. The beds where so comfortable, we even checked where the sheets were from to go purchase them ourselves. We loved sitting around the fire after an evening in the hot tub. The cottage was fenced off so my small dog could wander and felt secure. 6 adults and two children stayed and there was plenty of space, the hot tub and games room where a real added bonus. We mentioned the trip was for my mums birthday and left was Prosecco, chocolate, flowers. There was also bread, tea and coffee. The area was fab, felt secluded and private but was within walking distance of a village and a lovely pub. Couldn’t fault it, would love to come back. Thanks for having us!
