  • "It was a family visit."

Being in this apartment already in 2017 and then already we were more than satisfied, we booked it again. We had a little problems booking at, first of all because the website did not work and I needed the help of your chat programe, which was absolutely no problem. And secondly, the booking was only posible from Friday till Friday, which for us was not posible due to the few flights being available. In the end it was sorted. Apartment was like in 2017, it has everything you posibly will need, except a shower curtain. As we do not like a bath, and therefore always take a shower, the floor was always soaking. Which only with a shower curtain good be prevented. For the rest, sporless clean, comfortable, adn in nice quiet surroundings.

  • "The flat was brilliant, exactly as advertised at a very convenient location for both the promonade and the slightly more reclusive Jackson’s Bay beach."

We had a wonderful, relaxing week, visiting the beaches, Porthkerry Park which is wonderful for a hike and the Welsh Hawking Centre. We would definitely recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in Barry Island.

  • "Really lovely view."

Apartment is clean and comfortable with everything needed for a week's break. Directions of how to enter were very unclear. Houses are marked 46, 48, 49 and 50. Finding 47 is a difficult task and unwelcome at the end of a long journey. The area was a little disappointing as I chose it for my husband to fish from the jetty (visible from the apartment) but it is blocked off with no access. We also expected to wander around docks but these don't exist any more - just new houses everywhere. However the beach is nice and a lovely walk along the coast to the next beach where cafes and entertainment are abundant.

  • "Hello,I did leave feedback for this place after I stayed there last march and nothing has changed."

Unfortunately this included the leaking ceiling.I did expect after a year this would have been sorted out but there is still large damp patch on ceiling and when it rained some water dripped inside.Only about an eggcup though. If I visit barry island again I think I would stay in the flat below.David Price

  • "Was not easy to find at first because of the number of the property being on an internal door."

Spotlessly clean. A mirror near a socket would be beneficial for doing hair preferably in the bedroom. Good location for train into Cardiff.

  • "A lovely property, clean and comfortable with a spectacular view of Barry Harbour."

A good base for exploring nearby Cardiff / Penarth - and of course Barry Island. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

  • "Great location,wonderful view,value for money."

..however,there were no hangers for our clothes...bought some at our own expense! We chose this location as we were going to visit Cardiff Bay a few times during the week as our National Eisteddfod was being held there and we were looking forward to the evenings watching proceedings that are televised on S4C our welsh speaking channel. We were unable to locate this channel .We would understand if we had been holidaying in England..although some of our English friends can tune in to S4C.It would be great therefore if the owners could ensure that BBC Wales and S4C were available and we would definately book this flat again.
