The property

A superb, large property on the road down to the sea front, Shenstone lies in Burnham-on-Sea, a bustling coastal town in Somerset presenting a wonderful location from which to explore the surrounding beauty.

With both an enclosed front garden and back decking area with arbor roof, four spacious bedrooms, and an elegant style throughout, this property can comfortably accommodate eight guests for a memorable family or group holiday, and is pet-friendly too.

Enter the front door and make use of the handy porch area for any muddy or sandy boots, before stepping into the main hallway and heading left into the sitting room; discover beautiful parquet wood flooring in here, a feature fireplace and sofas to relax on, as well as a TV in here too.

From the hallway turn right and come to the large kitchen/diner, a social hub thanks to the long dining table amidst the excellent array of kitchen appliances, with a large range cooker with gas ring hob for cooking up a family favourite, as well as a separate utility room for laundry facilities.

On warmer days, dine alfresco under the sheltered decking, with outdoor sofas to relax on after you've eaten, and plenty of lawn space in the enclosed front garden for children and pets to run around.

The ground floor is also home to a separate room with a double sofa bed for a further two guests on request, and a cloakroom with basin and WC.

Head upstairs to be impressed by the beautiful master king-size bedroom, with a fabulous large window seat with a view of the front garden, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite shower room complete with a double basin.

The next bedroom has a double bed with a basin and walk-in shower in the room, there's another double bedroom with just a basin, and finally the last bedroom which is a double.

A shared bathroom is home to a fantastic Jacuzzi bath, ideal for a relaxing soak, as well as a walk-in shower.

Just a short walk into Burnham-on-Sea will bring you to the shore front, where a long sandy beach can entertain all ages, whether it's playing on the sand with little ones, sunbathing or paddling in the sea, there is also a separate area for boats and jet skis to launch and the famous pier is just a few steps away with cafés and shops.

For a lovely walk head to the Apex Leisure & Wildlife Park offering 42+ acres including lakes, trails and fishing, enjoy a round of golf on the championship 36-hold golf course, or head north on a coastal walk towards Brean and try to spot the Wreck of SS Nornen providing the tide is out!

Brean is the neighbouring town and is home to Brean Theme Park with fairground rides and a water park, as well as Animal Farm Adventure Park with various rides and a petting zoo with animals such as llamas, goats, and donkeys to meet.

Weston-super-Mare is also a great day out with the Grand Pier presenting more classic seaside fun, along with a Weston Museum and the Helicopter Museum.

Head to the Mendips for some stunning walking and scenery with a wealth of trails and routes to choose from, a popular route being Cheddar Gorge, a collection of cathedral-like caves with 9000 years of human history discovered here, you can follow a circular route to explore the area and visit the caves.

Down south are the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to more idyllic views, visit the National Trust's Fyne Court, a pretty estate with lovely gardens and a long history, with marked trails and a tearoom.
