  • "A lovely clean and comfortable cottage."

Would certainly recommend it and would certainly choose it again. Cottage owners were very welcoming. Regarding Sykes Cottages; I had to install What’s app Just to contact Sykes cottage's they wouldn’t message me information as it was booked in my husbands name so he then had to install the app. There was no phone contact listed on the sight and it was the only way to contact them.initially. when we enquired about bringing the 3 nights forward by a day Sykes wanted to charge us £30 admin fee which we thought was a bit steep so we didn’t bother.

After asking about good walks for the dog the owner Tim said we could take the dog to any field as there was not stock on the farm that week. Dog was in his happy place, sniffing and wondering around the fields (on his long lead). We intend to stay again when visiting family.
