  • "We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic bungalow."

    The views were breath-taking which were visable from the dining room, lounge and large king-size bedroom, the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind. The property was spotlessly clean, towels and bed linen were provided, there is a family shower and separate toilet next to each other, also plenty of parking. Games, jigsaws and books were provided for entertainment. We would highly recommend Broadlands Bungalow to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in a stunning location.

  • "Broadlands is in the most beautiful location and the view is stunning, pictures do not do it justice."

    We had a lovely welcome of homemade cakes and fresh farm milk. The bungalow is very spacious, clean and tidy with everything you need. We enjoyed the company of the squirrel, cows and various birds. Due to the lack of light pollution the night sky was a real highlight. Very convenient for places like Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, but also perfect if you want to relax and do nothing or go for a walk. We have never returned to any of our previous properties but really hope we can get back to Broadlands for a longer stay. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, thank you for letting us stay on your beautiful farm.

  • "Sandra and her family were the perfect hosts."

    Broadlands is in a beautiful spot and such easy drives to places such as Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Bridport. There were freshly baked cakes and fresh milk on arrival and check in instructions/directions were super clear and easy to follow. The bungalow itself is a great size and has everything you need- overall a fabulous stay and would highly recommend Broadlands!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Broadlands - it is warm."

    spacious and comfortable (and spotlessly clean!). The heating, hot water and shower were fantastic and very user-friendly, plus the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs (including a dishwasher.) The location and views are fabulous and there is secure off-road parking right outside the property.

  • "Heaven, you want find better!"

    Rural , countryside bungalow, situated on a working dairy farm, stunning scenery, so relaxing and comfortable. The hosts could not be anymore friendly and were wonderful. All incredibly clean spacious and comfortable, great beds and massive shower, high standard kitchen ware and everything was perfect. Highly recommend .

Away from the hustle and bustle, Broadlands Bungalow is in the perfect spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

Inside, you are welcomed into a kitchen/diner, offering everything you need for a self-catered stay, including a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area, for catching up on the day’s adventures.

Retreat to the to watch a movie, read or ponder over a puzzle, whilst the open fire keeps the room toasty.

The three bedrooms invite you to rest and unwind ready for another fun-filled day.

Freshen yourself up in the spacious shower room.

For added convenience, there is a separate cloakroom as well.

Buckland St Mary 2.7 miles; Chard 2.7 miles.

Combe St Nicholas is a charming village in Somerset, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, resting between Buckland St Mary and Chard. The village boasts two convenience stores, stocking all of the essentials, as well as a traditional country pub, and the village hall regularly hosts events, including an annual pantomime. The picture-perfect town of Chard rests just outside of the village, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as a museum, a leisure centre, and a handful of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the rolling landscape of the Blackdown Hills AONB is sure to appeal to the outdoor adventurers thanks to the abundance of walks and trails woven throughout. Alternatively explore the nearby town of Taunton where you can immerse yourself in the past at the Museum of Somerset or meander through Vivary Park or French Weir Park which overlooks the River Tone. Combe St Nicholas is a wonderful base from which to explore the wonders of Somerset.
