  • "Snowdrop Cottage is one of three situated beyond a very old farm house at the end of a narrow private road."

It can be difficult to find especially after dark so don't be surprised if you end up getting lost. But don't let that put you off. It is very well equipped, maintained to a high standard and is very clean. There are more than adequate cooking facilities with an electric cooker and microwave and fridge freezer. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The heating is very effective. There are plenty of local attractions including the church, beach and cliff walks at Llantwit Major, independent shops (and a Waitrose!) at Cowbridge, and further afield Cardiff, St Fagans, and Dyffen Gardens are all within easy reach. The motorway M4 is about 15 minutes away for longer trips inland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend the property highly.

  • "Although the bedrooms are quite small, we enjoyed every day of our stay."

Everything one could possibly need was there. Everything was clean and tidy. Communication was perfect and the owners are very nice and helpful. We can definitely recommend the cottage to all who love the freedom of the countryside but don’t want to travel to far to towns.

  • "The cottage was small but clean, and well equipped."

We loved the remote and peaceful location with just the sound of sheep, and swallows flying overhead. The owner was very friendly and helpful in the (phone) contact we had with her.

The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. Lovely quiet rural location with 3-4 good pubs within about 10-15 mins drive for evening meals.
