“Lovely house, a real home from home.”
Well located for 5 minute stroll to the beach.
Well located for 5 minute stroll to the beach. Excellent facilities and lots of little extras.- Mrs Platt, September 2020
“We had a lovely time in Porthcawl at Sandy Cottage.”
The only issues we had were with the hot water. It wasn't as hot as we'd have liked. The bathtub is very small and the shower isn't great if I'm honest. It didn't spoil our time there, was just surprised as it was recently modernised so would expect a more powerful shower. Beds were extremely comfortable. Beautiful decoration throughout the house. Would benefit from having a dishwasher too i think. Especially as we couldn't get the water very hot. The kitchen is well equipped otherwise. Good location, although noisy young children next door which woke us a few mornings before 6.30am screaming. If we visit the area again would definitely consider Sandy cottage as our base.- Miss Gaunt, August 2020
“Sandy Cottage is very well equipped, beautifully decorated/furnished, homely and a good base for staying in Porthcawl.”
Also beds were comfortable.- Mr Secrett, August 2020
“Fabulous accommodation I cannot fault it in any way.”
The decor, beds and linen were super comfortable, layout, facilities... everything was great.- Mr Wrest, January 2020
“Lovely welcoming cottage, warm, basic essentials provided , quiet road.”
Only downside was no parking allocated to property. Porthcawl in the summer months is very busy and parking is difficult. That is the only reason I wouldn’t book this property again, unless it was during winter months !- Miss Collins, January 2020
“This is the best holiday rental we have used.”
Obviously a lot of thought, time and effort has gone into making this a really comfortable and cosy home. Lots of nice touches such as bread, milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. Also cosy blankets in the lounge, games and even a record player plus some lp's. Easy access to the town and seafront. All in all, a great home.- Mr Pritchard, December 2019
“The house was very welcoming and with the minor issue we had we was able to contact the owners and they came around straight away.”
Very clean and felt just like a home from home- Mr Rogers, November 2019
