  • "Really good accommodation for a large family group."

Great position on the sea front overlooking Amroth beach. Large apartment with plenty of room in the lounge area to spread out. 4 bedrooms were of an adequate size and comfortable enough. 2 bathrooms were well equipped with walk in shower and a bath with towels and some toiletries provided. Kitchen had all major appliances Including a large fridge, dishwasher (tablets provided) , oven and hob unit. Very homely rather than luxurious ideal for families. Our only minor negative observation was we couldn't find a hair dryer in the accommodation or a knife sharpener.? Would definitely use this accommodation again and highly recommend it as a great place for a family to stay.

Ed, the owner was very helpful. The village itself had places to eat, both during the day and in the evening. I would happily stay here again.

Very friendly welcome by the owner who very quickly resolved a small problem. We initially delayed booking bacause of previous comments regarding noise, whilst noticeable it was not an issue and we would not hesitate to book again, hopefully next year.

  • "Lovely apartment overlooking the sea."

Spacious and comfortable but unfortunately the compressor attached to the outside wall which runs the walk in fridge for the cafe downstairs makes the most horrendous noise throughout the night, resulting in very little sleep for us all. It was so loud in the twin bedroom at the rear that my granddaughter couldn’t stay in that room and had to share the other twin room with her older brother. Not an ideal situation for a teenage boy! We enjoyed our holiday despite this but would not stay in this property again because of the lack of sleep caused by the disturbance.

Thankyou for your feedback. I am in the process of addressing the issue of the compressor noise. The refrigeration engineer was on site yesterday to address the situation 23/8/22 and discussed re siting the compressor so its taken off the the main building wall, so no noise will be evident in the bedroom. This work will be carried out A.S.A.P. Many Thanks Ed Davies Property Owner

  • "Had a wonderful stay with the family at this flat which overlooks the sea with an uninterrupted view."

Was lovely and quiet despite the shop and cafe underneath, which came in very handy and they do takeaway fish and chips - the best I’ve had in a long time! Parking was easy enough, and free with the parking token they provide (x2). Would definitely stay here again!

  • "We really enjoyed our time at The Pirate."

The cafe downstairs does wonderful breakfast buns that are really hot and filling. We were pleasantly surprised that Amroth has so much life about it but without it being commercial or noisy. The local National trust gardens were lovely and it was so easy to get to other places around and yet stay somewhere away from the maddening crowd. The view from The Pirate is fantastic and it’s so light and spacious. We saw seals in the sea from the lounge window.
