  • “Lovely little cottage, very cosy, modern & welcoming.”

Nice warm shower, small bathroom but you would expect this in a cottage.

Nice warm shower, small bathroom but you would expect this in a cottage. Unfortunately the main bedroom did smell of damp, although no obvious signs. Slightly alarming that you are extremely close to a road with buses, lorries & farm vehicles passing within inches of the gate. Fortunately there is a car park at the end of the road you can use. All in all we had a pleasant stay & the cottage is sited half way between various attractions.

The property

Nestled in the small riverside village of Llangwm, in the magnificent Pembrokeshire countryside, is this wonderfully restored end-of-terrace Victorian cottage. Inside the owner has created a smart and warming retreat for couples or small families seeking to explore the beautiful rolling countryside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Delight in a cosy and comfortable open-plan living area, with the sitting room and kitchen/diner separated by a small hallway. Look forward to relaxing and unwinding in the evening with a wood burning stove to keep you warm during those chillier months whilst you catch up with your favourite TV programmes or latest book. The cottage kitchen/diner has been fitted with all the appliances you need to rustle up simple delicious meals that you can enjoy around the cosy kitchen table.

Retire to one of the two well-presented bedrooms on the first floor, which include a double and twin, offering comfy beds and a range of vintage furniture to store your personal items. The compact but well-appointed shower room enables a relaxing shower anytime during your stay. This historic village is the perfect place to experience contemporary village life in a period cottage. There are a number of nearby pathways popular for walking and cycling. Llangwm lies within easy striking distance of a diverse range of Pembrokeshire towns, villages, beaches and countryside. A short drive away is the bustling ancient town of Haverfordwest hosting a variety of attractions including a skate park, traditional Welsh pubs and eateries, whilst its choice of shops and supermarkets are handy for picking up any last-minute essentials. Opposite the cottage is a small village shop offering a variety of food essentials, newspapers and post office.

Visit Carew, Pembroke or Manorbier Castles which are all close by, or perhaps Narberth with its small independent gift and antique shops. Situated in the heart of the village, this typical Victorian cottage is an excellent choice for a rural break to Pembrokeshire with your loved ones.

Ideal for couples or small families.
