  • "Absolutely recommended - located with lovely scenery, the apartment is well equipped with a private garden and access to the large garden for your dogs."

We felt instantly at home and found our break thoroughly relaxing with some beautiful places to go within a short drive, the apartment is quite rural so you will need to drive to places. Sylvia our host was absolutely lovely and so accommodating to both us and our two dogs, so glad we discovered this place. We will definitely be going back to stay at the same place again.

Everything was as described and all the items required for a very comfortable stay. Very dog friendly enclosed garden for our small dog and it was great for him to say ‘hello’ to the owners lovely dogs. Lovely and warm for the colder nights. A great base with easy access to lots of beautiful places and beaches. Will definitely return.

  • "We were a little concerned with regard to the cleanliness of the property when we arrived in view of the current covid 19 requirements, particularly in respect of the bathroom."

The cottage was very quiet and peaceful, and enabled us to access all the places we chose to visit and was easily accessible from the main A40, which did seem a little hairy when joining it to travel east especially. All in all we had a wonderful holiday, which helped in what has been a very difficult year.

  • "I telephoned as requested two days prior when the owner gave me some extra directions so as not to miss the cottage, which was good."

When we arrived she greeted us and there was some milk and welsh cakes left for us. She did ask if we needed extra pillows which she went and got immediately. We were out in the garden having a cup of tea when her husband came out - they live next door - to greet us and gave us some information about places to visit. We took up his suggestions and were not disappointed! A most comfortable vacation with some lovely views.

The hosts were lovely and the cottage is situated in their beautiful grounds with fencing all around so that dogs could play and run around safely. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby coastline and countryside, our dog was exhausted by the end of everyday! We would definitely recommend a visit and plan to go again ourselves. The owners dogs are absolutely adorable and very friendly and the cottage is well equipped, clean and cozy.

The hosts were a lovely couple and made use and our two dogs very welcome. They advised us on places to visit and where we good for dogs. It is in a very good location, but also away from everything. The cottage itself was plenty big enough for us with 2 labradors aswell. Plus it had everything you needed. The gardens were just perfect. So peaceful on an evening and watching the birds. We will definitely be back.

Just what we needed to chill out and relax. It had everything we needed even dog bowls and a dog bed. It was nice to just sit and look out at the owners lovely garden and beyond- not forgetting the birds on the bird feeders. Despite the rain, we had a full 5 days visiting the local area. The local pub was close by but not really walkable as the road is quite busy and has no pavements. The owners - Sylvia and Bruce were very nice - the dog Bingo came to fence every morning and barked for a biscuit - most amusing - no alarm clock required. All in all - I would highly recommend Cwtch Cowin.

It is small but two of us ( my husband not very mobile) plus our Irish Terrier had plenty of room. A contained garden for your dog or you can arrange to let your dog in the large garden with any boarded dogs at the time. The owners are friendly, helpful and on hand to give any advice on places to go, we ordered a hired mobility scooter to be delivered to the property which was there before we arrived. The village shop is well stocked, fresh bread, eggs etc and the pub is friendly and you can eat in the bar with your dog, food is very good. Lots of beautiful beaches a short drive away, all had big areas which allowed dogs on even though we were there after the 1st May. We would definitely stay here again. Well worth the 310 mile drive from Yorkshire

The cottage is ideal for anyone with a dog, as the owners are dog people and they took an interest in my dog, which is the main reason I went back to this cottage(Third time now). Everything was in the cottage, well equipped, totally spotless and clean. Hugh garden to let the dogs run around, pub about 3/4 of a mile up the road, as well as shop(Be careful, some of the walk is on a road with no footpath). About 15 minutes in the car from the beach and main supermarket. I would recommend this cottage. I look forward to making a return visit. Thank you both for yet another stay. Alan, Stratford on Avon.
