  • "My family and I had a lovely time staying at Ty Mawr."

There was plenty of room for six adults three chukdren and four dogs. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and with blackout curtains we had a good night's sleep. We had a lovely welcome pack and towels were provided. The games room and hot tub were a hit. The owners were friendly and helped if there was any issue. Only issue was we found one of the doors was hard to lock but once we had been explained how to lock it was fine. Great garden for the children and dogs. Would recommend staying with a family . It is not far to Fishguard and other popular places to visit

Couple of things need attention a roof shelter for hot tub with inclement weather, shower mats, pool table reclothed other than that Tip Top

Thanks for the recommendations. We have now sorted the shower mats and pool table. I appreciate that the weather was terrible during your stay so we will look into making a shelter for the hot tub. However, it's fair to say that for the majority of the year it is not required. • "Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there were a couple of things that could have been better."

The hot tub was dirty so whilst we had wanted to use it, we didnt end up using it. (The bedroom next to the big tiled walk-in shower) The bed was uncomfortable it has major dips on both sides but one more so than the other so you sink into the middle and the linen was dirty on the skirt sheet. The big back sliding doors were so stiff we couldn't open them. It wasn't until we got to the place that there was a note stating that our dog had to stay behind closed doors. When a place states that it's dog friendly we assume it to be just that. other than that, the garden was great for our dog who loved it, and the place itself is in a beautiful setting . Thank you

We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at Ty Mawr. It's disappointing to get negative feedback after guests leave the property as we live right next door and are literally just a phone call away. All of your niggles could have been dealt with quickly and easily if you had mentioned it at the time. The hot tub was drained and refilled prior to your arrival (as it is for every new guest). It is also checked and cleaned daily. Sorry to hear that the bed wasn't up to standard - this is the first negative comment we have received about it but we will now replace it. The property is dog friendly and they have access to the kitchen, utility room, games room and secure garden. We don't think it's unreasonable to ask for dogs to be kept out of the bedrooms for hygiene purposes. We're glad you enjoyed the garden and the overall settings which we agree are absolutely beautiful. Thank you. Matthew, Sarah and team. Property Owner

  • "I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ty Mawr, we were the first to log in under new ownership, and I must say it was an absolutely lovely experience."

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Ty Mawr itself was very spacious (I think the pictures don’t do much justice) and newly refurbished, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, with tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning location and easy access. The holiday home was nestled amidst breathtaking Pembrokeshire, offering picturesque views, close to most amazing beaches and lush towns . It was the perfect retreat for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. We enjoyed leisurely walks in the nearby trails and spent evenings savouring the peaceful ambiance on the patio. The owner, Matthew was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and stress-free. Their recommendations for local attractions were spot-on, and we discovered some hidden gems thanks to their guidance. Overall, our stay at Ty Mawr exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a true haven of tranquillity and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of luxury. We can't wait to return for another memorable stay in the future! Thank you to the owners for providing such a delightful experience.

Wow. Thanks for leaving us such a fantastic review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Ty Mawr and hope you can visit again soon. Matthew, Sarah and team ❤️ Property Owner
