  • "What an amazing cabin!"

Fabulous surroundings, fabulous host. Rob was friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. we had an amazing week, as did our three dogs. They were safe in the enclosed grounds, plenty of space to roam and run without too much worry. The cabin itself is lovely, very warm, comfortable with everything you could need. We would love to return again next year.

  • "Beautiful place, lots of light, feel good."

However, double bedroom small, toe stubbing, uncomfortable. Dust and dog hairs a problem in the 2 living areas mainly on floors, around furniture. Stool and dining chair unstable. The bedroom is what would put us off going again. The land and hens were great. The owner spoilt our last morning by arriving 2 hrs before our departure time to mow the field and got gradually closer to the building till he was outside the open bathroom window while I was using it, with his trimmer. Totally rude, intimidating. He didn't give this impression when we arrived. Hope other people had a better experience.

  • "We had a great time, peaceful and a perfect stop to explore this beautiful part of Wales."

The kids had fun and made friends with the two hens outside and we as parents took our time to slow down and disconnect from the mad mundane life. Thank you Rob for being a excellent host. Very happy to recommend to anyone.

  • "Property in a lovely isolated position yet within easy distance to visit all the Pembrokeshire coast."

Fantastic for dogs and a getaway for their owners. The property I would describe as rustic charm. A Rayburn for cooking and tap hot water (note you’ll need to use kettles in hot weather - not a problem), electric shower, log burner for cold weather, separate gas cooker. It’s fair to say the internet is a bit unreliable at times! The welcome pack was much appreciated as were the fresh eggs straight from the nearby chickens. The owner, Rob was very friendly and approachable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sarngwm

  • "The lodge is idyllic."

It’s in a secluded spot with plenty of land around it and a large pond. The lodge itself is fantastic, it has everything you need and is more spacious than the pictures make it look. The owner is really nice and checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

The owner is amazing and very kind. We stayed our original 4 nights and added an extra two whilst we were there. We needed a break in a rural and private area. It's absolutely beautiful, there's amazing rolling hills and fields to walk through. The pond is stunning and the whole cabin was amazing. We were fully loving life when we were here. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you like the pictures, I'd urge you to book it, it's far better in person.

Set over one ground-floor, this delightfully decorated lodge provides a beautiful escape from reality and is the perfect location for families or friends travelling in groups of four, or a couple looking to spend quality time together in a romantic setting.

As you make your way up to the front of the property, admire the stunning landscapes and wonderful views of the pond, home to many carp and trout.

Step inside the pretty open-plan living space and place your shoes on the shoe rack under the beautiful oak breakfast bar before wandering into the country-style kitchen space, popping on the kettle and discovering an array of useful appliances.

Delight in a light afternoon snack at the dining table as you map out the plans for the rest of your stay or gather on the sofa to enjoy a family-friendly movie as you unwind from an action-packed day.

Snuggle up with a book in the welcoming snug whilst a log burns on the stove and heats up the room, making you warm and toasty as you kick back and relax.

Lay your head to rest in one of the two well-decorated bedrooms; the first of the bedrooms is a pleasant double bedroom with oak furniture and a lovely gingham blanket as well as boasting a double patio door that leads out onto the patio with outdoor furniture, where you can sit and enjoy a brew as you breath in the fresh countryside air on a crisp winters morning.

The second of the bedrooms is home to a double bunk bed and ample storage for guests to house their belongings and truly feel at home during their holiday.

Both bedrooms are serviced by a contemporary shower room with a hand basin and WC, where you can enjoy a refreshing wash after an afternoon walk in the local area.

When you finally manage to pull yourself away from this charismatic cottage, jump in the car and take a scenic drive to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park for a day of beautiful walks with enchanting seascapes.

Have an animal encounter like no other at The Secret Owl Garden or wander the galleries of Narberth Museum before heading to Narberth Castle to see the historical ruins of this impressive Norman Fortress.
