The owners provided everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. A wasp’s nest made the main bathroom out of bounds for most of the stay, which was a shame (especially with four kids to bathe!) but otherwise our stay was lovely - so much to explore in this stunning part of the country.

The games room even with a pool table in the middle still had loads of room for them to run around and play. The place overall was very clean and the beds and linen were clean and comfortable. You can tell that the owners have thought about their guests and provided almost everything you could possibly need, the labels and instructions on how to use items around the house was a nice touch. Due to the pandemic we did not get to experience the local scenery which means we will try and visit again.

We prefer to do our own cooking and eat in and were very pleased with the facilities available that enabled us to do this. The spacious cottage allowed us to spend time together and also enjoy a few moments to ourselves. The games room was very well used by us every evening. The location of the cottage meant that we had to drive about 30-40 minutes away to visit areas of interest but we don't mind that. We visited Dinefwr and the Gold mine (National Trust places). The Millennium Coastal Walk from Llanelli is also worth a visit. In good weather Pembrey Country Park has plenty on offer. We walked from Pembrey to Burry Port. The nearest town of Ammanford has a large Tesco store among other shops, which were handy for getting supplies. Kids were pleased that the Internet connection was good, so thanks for that. Although the cottage is close to the road, it is very peaceful. Worth going a few minutes walk to the nearby water fall- take care if it is wet. I would definitely stay in this cottage again and would recommend it. Didn't want to leave! If you could copy this cottage in other areas of the country we would definitely make use of them. Thanks to Sykes for the assistance with the booking and thanks to the owners for providing a fab cottage.
