  • "Lovely place to stay and the owners are really nice people too."

Great views down the valley, and plenty of places to visit and things to do in the area. Highly recommend this property.

  • "Lovely little cottage in a beautiful valley."

Had everything we could need. Would rather a washing machine than a dish washer. The friendly owners were close to answer any questions and had lots of information handy for places to go. We were very lucky with the unusually hot weather, sometimes too hot The garden furniture provided a large umbrella, chairs and a large table and reclining chairs. Sat outside for some of our meals. Sat in the dark in the late evening listening to the river, the owls and star gazing. Really enjoyed our holiday.

It had everything we wanted and was very clean. The beds had quality mattresses and were really comfortable. The owners (who live across the lane) are lovely people and were really nice to chat to - without being intrusive. We loved meeting their dog and horse! Having no wifi wasn't a problem as we could get 4G. There are so many lovely places to visit within 40 minutes drive.

A perfect getaway. Located in a very tranquil setting on the outskirts of Newcastle Emlyn, with stunning views along the valley. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped and perfectly situated to explore this spectacular region of Wales, its coastline and many beaches. The owners, Angela & Tony, are a lovely friendly couple whose company we thoroughly enjoyed. They were perfect hosts. We look forward to visiting again.

On arrival we found it to be spotlessly clean with a fresh spring flower planter to welcome us. The cottage is cosy but has the perfect amount of space for two or three as designed and the location is wonderful for those wishing to get away from it all. There's next to no traffic noise in this valley location and all you can hear are the birds. Hosts Angela and Tony are incredibly charming, thoughtful and helpful but not intrusive. We would highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the very near future. It's perfect!

  • "Exceptionally delightful hosts, the cottage proved to be more spacious than we had anticipated from photos."

In terms of equipment we have marked below the highest rating, not because we feel we lost out in any way, but many cottages have items such as wifi, a washing machine, cubicle shower, copious kitchen items for example. For our purposes these were not essential and overall, we think this was one of the best holiday cottage experiences we have ever had and would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

Very friendly owners. We purposely chose this location for the lack of wi-fi to get some peace and quiet (There is a signal a bit up the road). Lots of nice walks and enough facilities in the town to keep you supplied - there's a lot of tea shops. You're within easy drive of a lot of great places to visit. Our daughter got to see dolphins in Cardigan Bay which made the holiday worthwhile for her. The booking process was easy. A very stress free, peaceful holiday.
