The property

Situated within the tranquil grounds of the owner’s property, resting on the outskirts of the bustling town of Narberth, is this pretty cottage, The Croft.

This heart-warming retreat is perfect for a family looking to spend time at the UK's only coastal National Park and soak up the sun at the glorious beaches of Tenby and Saundersfoot, set in 6 acres of gardens, paddocks and woodlands the property is in a beautiful wildlife haven.

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into the well-equipped kitchen, housing all the essentials you could possibly need during a week-long stay.

After the designated chef of the group prepares a home-cooked meal, gather your loved ones around the dining table to plan the days ahead before sinking into the plush sofas which rest in front of the woodburning stove.

As the evening draws to a close, retire to one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Each bedroom boasts a bright colour palette, ample storage and charming views of the surroundings to wake up to each morning.

If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, a short drive will bring you into the town of Narberth where you will find a selection of pubs and restaurants, as well as a variety of shops, boutiques, deli grocers and unique gift shops to explore one afternoon.

For fun packed days with the kids, just 5 miles away is Folly Farm adventure park and zoo, explore the barn or the go around the zoo and meet some of natures endangered species.

If you can tear yourself away from this superb location, venture to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where you will discover sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and secluded coves offering opportunities for walking and water sports.

Close by are two more fantastic days out, Oakwood Theme Park with thrill rides and family ride, and Blue Water Lagoon perfect for creating a splash on one of the flumes or taking a taking a trip down the rapid rivers.

For those feeling adventurous, take a boat trip to Caldey Island or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins.

Alternatively, soak up the sun at the harbour town of Tenby, where you will find further quality amenities and a glorious sandy beach.

The Croft is a wonderful base for a family seeking a traditional Welsh coastal getaway.

Pembrokeshire is home to the UK's only coastal National Park, and the whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, visit secluded sandy beaches, such as the acclaimed Barafundle Bay for a quiet relaxing day, or take in an invigorating walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path. Enjoy a boat trip to Caldey Island and its monastery, or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins.
