This is a lovely cottage, the steps at the top going to the garden need a little bit of attention, the location is great

  • "A lovely old house tastefully modernised."

Convenient for beach, shops and walks. Comfortable and quirky but not really cosy...perhaps a rug in the lounge would help? Well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, comfy beds. We are fit but in our 70s so the 3 flights stairs down from bedroom and very awkward corner steps into bathroom were challenging!! Also no garden as mentioned in ad...just steep steps up to gravel patch which the house book asks not to use. Disappointed that this aspect of the description was inaccurate as we include garden in our serach filter

Dear Andy, We are really sorry that the listing was incorrect last year, we were worried about the access and did not want guests tohave to walk up lots of steps to the garden. Following your comments, this year, we have opened up the upper garden for use by guests. Thankyou again for your feedback Property Owner

  • "Rear garden out of bounds to guests - listing says great care must be taken when accessing rear garden."

Listing says roadside parking available, but the car park (very busy) over the road is the only option. Washing machine not available. Otherwise a beautiful cottage in a fab location.

Step into the welcoming living/dining room, where you can look forward to tucking into long, lazy dinners over a bottle of wine at the dining table for six, followed by a relaxing evening spent in front of a much-loved film on the TV.

The budding chef of the group will have all they need to whip up mouth-watering meals in the well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher so time isn’t wasted doing chores!

Before the evening grows dark head out into the garden where your four-legged friends can stretch their legs and play a game of fetch.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, where on one side of the split-level landing you will find a shower room, and the other a well-presented double and a twin bedroom.

Continue onto the second floor, where you will discover the final bedroom, a spacious double with exposed stonework, Velux windows and TV, ideal for those leisurely Sunday mornings.

Explore the local village, where just a short walk away, you will find the welcoming Galleon Inn, where you can indulge in a tasty pub lunch, as well as the charming Bay café where you can grab a light bite.

For when you do feel like cooking, there is a well-stocked convenience store a stone’s throw away where you can gather up ingredients.

Spend a day on the glorious Blue Flag sands of Broad Haven Beach, where you can bathe, paddle the shores, or try your hand at surfing, with a surf shop nearby for stocking up on essentials.

After an action-packed day, treat your loved ones to dinner with a view at The Ocean Café Bar & Restaurant, where you can sample fresh seafood in a relaxed atmosphere.

Walkers will delight at the close proximity of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, spanning for 186-miles where you can expect to spot the local wildlife, idyllic beaches and incomparable views from the coves and clifftops.
