“Lovely property, well furnished and comfortable.”

However, we were a little disappointed to find the back garden was accessed via an open passageway between the house next door and there was no way of allowing our dog access to the garden/house without us being in the garden with it. We have a bit of an escapoligist dog and this is an important factor in any booking.

The property

A delightful cottage, with a contemporary finish, situated within the heart of Laugharne.

Perfect for dog owners, the cottage is less than a minute's walk from the popular dog walking area along the river estuary and castle..

The stoned exterior brings a touch of character upon entering, and the layout makes a heart-warming place for families to relax in style.

Walking inside, you will be greeted by an open plan dining room which forms a spacious setting for socialising with friends.

This sweeps over to a warm and cosy living space, hosting comfortable seating, a large screen TV and a feature fire place.

Moving through the double doors, you will arrive at a nicely fitted kitchen, fully equipped and finished with an oak effect.

There is plenty of storage available, and a delightful view of outside.

Take the stairs to be welcomed by a twin bedroom which is neatly designed with a neutral tone.

Two double bedrooms almost mirror each other, equally laced with wooden interior and a window backdrop that opens out to the front of the property.

Bringing the upstairs together, a bathroom is well-structured, with a corner shower and bath, echoing sophistication throughout.

To the outside of the property lies a small patio area which makes an ideal place to sit back and enjoy the sunshine.

Immediately behind the cottage is a park and play area, ideal for the children to enjoy on a sunny afternoon.

At the side of the property is an enclosed garden area for children and dogs to roam around.

Walk into the village of Laugharne, known for its beautiful walks and breathtaking views, or wander out to the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot for a lovely day out.

This is a fabulous cottage in a well-appointed location.

About the location

LAUGHARNE

Tenby 16 miles.

Laugharne, with its majestic castle standing on a low ridge overlooking the wide Taf River Estuary, is famous for its associations with the poet Dylan Thomas, and a visit to his Boat House and the writing shed where he wrote most of his works is a wonderful experience. Beautiful walks in and around the castle, with breathtaking views of the estuary, can be followed by cream teas in quaint little tea rooms, a drink in the local pub or shopping in the gift shops and mini market. The nearby sandy beach at Pendine is where many land speed records have been famously set on its seven mile stretch of beautiful flat sand, and a little further afield are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot. With walks in all directions, great days out at castles, mills and craft centres galore, this is a perfect base for all the family, at any time of the year.
