  • "A perfect place to relax and enjoy Pembrokeshire."

Loved every minute of our stay.

  • "Spacious and furnished to a high standard."

We were two families and there was plenty of room for the kids to spread out. It was even better than expected from the photos, and it was great being within easy walking distance of the coast.

  • "This holiday home has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, with super clean bedding and towels provided."

Good contact from host and courtesy call from Sykes to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Just remember to bring extra loo rolls and dish washer tabs, as they only provide starter packs as its self catering. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.

  • "Generally good: nice big house and garden, but two negatives for us: 1) One of our group had an EV."

The owner turned up on Sunday and requested we pay extra for charging the vehicle (£10). I understand the website now states that no EV charging on site is available, so if you have an EV you may wish to look elsewhere. 2) A 10am checkout time on Sunday, after a two night stay is too early to have a relaxing weekend. I suggest that 12 noon is more reasonable.

  • "A spacious and delightful property."

Extremely well equipped, it had everything we needed, and more. All the necessary information on equipment was provided, with a plethora of other local information. Very clean and tidy, heating when required was very responsive and the showers were powerful with plenty of hot water. Garden and patio areas were private, with a glimpse of the sea. Parking was adequate. Close enough to the main road for quick access and travelling, but far enough away for the noise not to be intrusive. Excellent local shop within the petrol station, with Newport and Fishguard a few minutes away.

Spacious and clean, a nice garden with lovely views and it's a short distance to the sea. Great local area and a short drive to lots of really amazing beaches and walks. The beds are comfy and it's handy having so much at the house - it's a home from home. Local chip shop highly recommended!

The kitchen and open plan living space just make it. The kitchen is so well equipped it's better then my own! The huge fridge freezer is a great addition if planning to eat in a lot. It's clean and very comfortable. Very well set up for small children too. The patio and garden area is lovely with a bonus sneaky peak of the sea. The beds were comfy and towels big soft and fluffy. We had a super week at Greenbanks and couldn't recommended it highly enough. Thankyou.

Very spacious and really well equipped. The outside space is lovely and we spent our evenings sitting out on the patio. Half a mile stroll to a couple of pubs, chip shop, petrol station and two shops. Two tea rooms near by well worth a visit. Nearest supermarket 3 miles away in Fishguard (co-op). 3 beaches within walking distance if a touch hilly on way back.If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday this is definitely the place to stay.

  • "This is probably the best equipped property we have ever rented."

The only gadget I would suggest as an addition would be a food processor! The property was spotlessly clean and the furniture, including the beds was comfortable and practical. . The large living room to the rear is great for dining and for socialising and the garden and patio are a sun trap and perfect for young children to play in safely. Dinas is a nice village with 2 excellent pubs, a chip shop, a village shop and a filling station with small supermarket attached. There are several nice beaches within easy walking distance along quiet lanes or via the gorgeous coastal path. Beautiful Fernant gardens are nearby and well worth a visit. Trefdraeth (Newport) is one of the prettiest villages/small towns in Wales and there are several nice eateries and pubs as well as some interesting independent shops. The only very minor negatives were the poor wifi signal and TV reception (not the owner's fault and who visits this part of Wales to sit indoors?); the complicated waste recycling system (again, not the owner's fault) and finally, the handle on the upstairs toilet kept falling off. We would definitely recommend this property and we hope to return.

A nice large house idea for four adults and all their stuff. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook a really good meal and a large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer in an offshoot to the kitchen completed our requirements. We has a couple of issues with the heating and the internet but both were sorted out extremely promptly and I am sure the owners will look to up-grade the internet given that fibre-optic is now available to the premises.

  • "The house was comfortable and well equipped and well located."

The only key challenge was the quality and reliability of the internet connection which was very poor. The service would frequently be inoperable for periods of half hour to hour at times. This was problematic for me as I was originally meant to be working attending a number of web conferences in during our stay, but had to abandon plans as the connection was not reliable enough. Luckily my customers were understanding of situation but I had to ask colleagues to take on my responsibilities in my absence which was certainly not ideal. I did not report at the time as it was quite evident from my past experience that this would not be a "quick fix" and would almost certainly involve a BT engineer visit.

Many thanks for your review, we are pleased that you found Greenbanks comfortable and well equipped for your holiday in Pembrokeshire. We're sorry that you experienced issues with the internet connection speed during your stay. We were unaware of this issue and we would have happily have taken it forward, had we been notified of it at the time. As it happens, our most recent guests reported the same issue during their stay and we contacted BT who visited within 48 hours and reported back that there was an external fault that was outside of our control. BT have now resolved this fault and we now have good internet access and speed at Greenbanks for our guests to enjoy. Property Owner

  • "A lovely house on edge of Dinas Cross."

Despite being only 50m across small green from the A487 there was no problem with road noise and garden was quiet and private with distant sea view with fabulous sunsets over that view. The coast is stunning and the walk down to isolated beach from the house was a delight. ( 15 mins down , 20 mins back due to hill). House was amazingly equipped especially for cooks like us!. We ate in other than amazing Fish & Chips from Pat's Plaice a few minutes down the road. Local lamb from Newport was delicious. Living room extension is very comfortable with doors out to nice patio and garden. Take your own patio cushion pads. Barbecue & utensils very good; local fresh burgers and sausages hard to beat. Beds comfortable.

  • "We had a great week at Greenbanks."

We were a family bubble of six adults and were pleasantly surprised to find the house spacious and comfortable. The distant view of the sea from the living/dining room and garden was better than we had expected from the website, and was a real tonic in these restricted times. It is a 15 minute walk from the house down hill to a lovely bay where you can join the Coastal path. We walked from the house to Cardigan one day and to Newport another, picnicking on the cliffs on the way. It is sooo beautiful. The house is fully equipped, as other guests have mentioned. Loads of cooking and e.g. Tupperware equipment - really thoughtful. Multiple hairdryers. Helpful owner offered advice and extended our arrival and leaving times as no other guests preceded or followed at that time. We mostly kept to ourselves because of CV, taking most of our food with us - there was plenty of storage space in the kitchen cupboards and huge fridge freezer. We did visit Dyffryn Fernant garden which was only 4 minutes away by car and lovely, and took boat trip from St David’s around Ramsey Island to see the seals etc , great fun and also clean and safe. We’d come again, no doubt!

Everything was at it should be and more, no complaints whatsoever. our stay was only for four nights but honestly, you'd have no problem staying here for a fortnight. Though we ate out each day and did no cooking the kitchen (with separate utility) is superbly equipped for self-catering. All 4 bedrooms were clean, comfortable and cosy, we all slept very well. It's a home from home.
