A cluster of seven former farm buildings make up this welcoming and comfortable group of properties, set amongst slightly undulating, pretty landscaped gardens. These delightful properties are set back, down a short lane yet close to the main coast road, on the edge of Penparc village and less than three miles from the popular market town of Cardigan. These superb holiday cottages have been transformed from their original use and have been lovingly furnished with a view to making your stay as relaxing as it can be. All cottages offer well-equipped kitchens, welcoming sitting areas, woodburning stoves (with the exception of Pen-y-Bryn) and WiFi, plus three even boast the added luxury of a private hot tub. Great care has been taken to accommodate people with varying needs, with five of the properties being on one level and two have been furnished for guests with limited mobility. All cottages have shared use of an inviting outdoor heated swimming pool available from the start of May until mid September, as well as communal lawned grounds, BBQ area, a play field, children’s play area and a laundry room with use of two washing machines and a tumble dryer. The village of Penparc has two petrol stations, both with a small shop and off licence, plus these rural cottages benefit from being surrounded by the stunning West Wales countryside, with the nearby town of Cardigan providing shops, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, and Cardigan Bay has small harbour towns and National Trust owned beaches. A short drive away is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with its stunning sandy beaches and the wonderful Preseli Mountains. With many places to visit, there’s plenty of choice when planning your fabulous days out in West Wales. Surrounding Cardigan is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away. You have the opportunity to visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful Blue Flag sandy beaches like the National Trust beach Mwnt, take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals, or horse riding at the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre. For keen cyclists take a trip on the National Cycle Route, Number 82. The nearby Preseli Mountains offer wonderful walking and cycling, with some stunning views and an ancient stone monument.
