"We really enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave."
The property had everything you could need for a fantastic break away. Stunning sea views and lovely walks on our door step. A stunning beach in walking distance with a little hut for food and drink right on next to the beach. Inside the property we had all we needed, the garden was lovely and well kept. We took our 9 month year old baby and used the provided travel cot. (Just check sizes of the cot if you bring your own mattress, the one we brought with us was too big for the travel cot provided. Nobody's fault though). We also took our fur baby too, she enjoyed the well kept garden and walks. A few beaches a short drive away allow dogs, unfortunately the Mwnt beach next to the property didn't allow dogs on it during our stay which was a shame. Completely our own fault here, we should have checked the season timings for dogs on the beach. Either way we still had a great time and spent most days on the Aberporth Beach which allows dogs. Parking at this beach is limited but if you cab park on the 2 small car parks its a lifesaver. We wouldn't recommend Poppit Sands beach, dogs can go here but the sea was too far out and it was quite windy. Parking is close by though. Near the property only a short 15 minute drive away to get to a Tesco, BnM and Aldi which was ideal. We were able to stay a two extra nights (with additional cost) as the property wasnt booked out and we really didn't want to leave. The property owners were lovely and left you to it, but we're contactable and accommodating if you needed anything. The only minor thing that would have slightly improved our stay is having a small welcome package when we arrived. A cake, milk, biscuits for example. We had driven 4.5 hours and although tea bags and sugar were provided we we were really hoping for a cup of tea and a small snack to settle us in. Little things like salt and cooking oil also might have also been an idea thing to have in too. Apart from that, we had a brilliant stay and we would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for our stay.

"An amazing property with incredible views and everything you could need provided."
The walls were (hopefully) thick enough to limit the sound pollution from our four-month-old baby and Elin next door was kindly on hand for anything we may have needed. I’d highly recommend Llaethdy to anyone looking for a wonderful base to explore this area of Wales.

"Lovely quiet spot with good views out to sea."
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the owners were lovely who live adjacent too it. If you are looking for a quiet spot with a 10 minute walk to a small sandy cove this place is perfect.
-
"Spotlessly clean comfortable cottage close to one of the best beaches we've known."
Extremely helpful owner in Elin.

"Lovely place and already recommended to others."
Great for walkers with dogs, pleased with where we stayed.

"Both cottages are fabulous."
They are in a wonderful location. They are beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and have everything you require to make your stay extremely relaxing and enjoyable. We had the best time.

"We were so pleased with our choice of holiday accommodation."
The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped, and only a few minutes from the beach and coastal walks. We would love to go back and would highly recommend to everyone.

"Had an absolutely wonderful break at Llaethdy."
The location is just stunning and there were plenty of places nearby to visit. We had fantastic weather so the beach did get a little busy but still plenty of space. The cottage itself had everything we needed including plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Everything was clean, fresh and comfortable. The bathroom door needs an adjustment of some sort, since it sticks and needs quite a push or pull to open it, so much so I think it might prove tricky for some people. The views from the decking were so beautiful and it was my favourite thing to do to sit and relax soak it up in the mornings and evenings, watching the dolphins playing in the bay. It was our first trip to Wales and we absolutely loved our time there. We were sad to leave.

"Lovely cottage, with beautiful sea views from the raised patio in the back garden."
Really well-kept inside, and so clean! The kitchen and bathroom are both well appointed, and the internet is good and reliable. Mwnt is a wonderful location, we spent most of our time here, enjoying the walks, beach, and wildlife. Fully recommended. Stayed in June 2023.

"Absolutely gorgeous location (and view from balcony)."
Fantastic walks along the coastal path. Saw dolphins in the bay and at Mwnt beach on numerous occasions. Laethdy was immaculate and every need catered for.

"Wonderful place, warm welcome great time."

"Lovely place to stay very comfortable and close to the beach and coastal path."
The kitchen was very well equipped = just a couple of feedback - There is no freezer just an ice Box which was not what we expected. The cooker grill does not work and the oven is very difficult to read the temperature as there is no setting. Also no mobile signal which should be indicated when booking as this was really important as I have elderly parents. The property is adjacent to a small camping site and caravan park which is not really indicated in the information. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The bustling market town of Cardigan in Ceredigion is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and an impressive ruined castle, which is the home to the Eisteddfod. Cardigan castle has a fascinating history and has undergone substantial investment over the years. It is home to regular events throughout the year, along with a café and restaurant which has been strategically positioned with a view over the castle and River Teifi. Surrounding Cardigan is beautiful countryside, with long, dramatic cliff walks around the Cardiganshire coastline, whilst the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away. You have the opportunity to visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful Blue Flag sandy beaches like the National Trust beach Mwnt, take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals, or horse riding at the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre. For keen cyclists take a trip on the National Cycle Route, Number 82. The nearby Preseli Mountains offer wonderful walking and cycling, with some stunning views and an ancient stone monument. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Cardigan is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
