Cardigan has a beautifully restored castle, theatre/cinema, indoor market, individual shops, pubs, eateries and a thriving arts community. Cardigan Bay has plenty of beaches to choose from including Poppit Sands, Mwnt beach, with its delightful whitewashed church and New Quay, with its resident dolphins. The Welsh Wildlife Park is across the river at Cilgerran and there are some lovely woodland walks just up the lane. Cenarth with its beautiful waterfalls is nearby and you may spot a salmon leaping up the falls or a fisherman using a traditional coracle.
