“All in all we had a lovely holiday.”

The sofas could be more comfortable, the wi-fi is very poor and the car parking could do with re-stoning as it’s a bit muddy, but other than that it was very nice.

The property

Just half a mile outside Cardigan and near Cardigan Bay, this simple, no frills cottage nestles in a dip along the road from Cardigan to Llechryd and leading to the Teifi Valley.

There are numerous interesting places to visit nearby, including the Cardigan Wildlife Centre, Mwnt beach and Poppit Sands.

A little further up the coast are Aberporth and New Quay, where resident dolphins can be seen.

The market town of Cardigan has a restored castle, good range of pubs, eateries, shops, galleries and an excellent theatre/cinema.

The cottage is perfect for a couple, small family, or guests with dogs, as there is almost an acre of sloped grounds to explore at the rear, with grass and woodland areas to enjoy.
