  • "A beautiful home with quality furnishings throughout."

So spacious too. We were 5 adults and we all loved this home. Two beaches really close although the bank down to the nearest beach would not suit a person with mobility needs unless in a car. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you

Thank you Carl for your kind review. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay, the weather was certainly kind to you. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Aelwyd Y Don from start to finish, we have never been to this part of Wales before but this stay has definitely made us want to revisit the area."

The bungalow was so welcoming and comfortable, with amazing views and a lovely welcome basket (even treats for the dog). The bungalow is well looked after, we were a family of four adults, two children and a very well behaved Greyhound we had so much room and we could escape from each other if needed. We met cows, badgers, lots of birds and many more rabbits whilst staying here these were spotted from the quiet garden at the back and the side balcony. The beach and The Ship Inn pub in Tresaith was amazing although the walk down the hill is short the walk back up was quite a challenge. The pub gets very busy so you need to book in advance. The food was great and the views even better. We visited the beach three times during our stay and even managed to see the waterfall on foot and by paddleboard when the tide was in. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit in the future.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and of course you furry freind was super welcome. Thank you for mentioning the wild life, it is a joy to be living so close, we all spend hours watching when we are there. Tresaith is a special place, please come and stay again. Always so much more to explore. Again thank you for your kind comments. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic holiday home."

5 minute walk to the beach and some lovely coastal walks. The house itself was beautiful, the sea views were amazing. The facilities were excellent with lots of extra touches that made this feel very special. We only stayed 3 nights but wish we’d stayed a bit longer now. Highly recommended.

Thank you for you comments. I wish the weather had been kinder to you. But even so you can still chill out with the views ! Please return and stay longer next time Property Owner

  • "This is a fantastically located property and very clearly a home as well as a holiday house."

We had a wonderful week here and will certainly return. We are new to the area and totally captivated by it. The views from the sitting room are spectacular and we thought that the online listing undersells the house and it’s position.

Thank you so much for you generous comments. We too as a family were also captivated on a quick evening trip to Tresaith in 1969!! We have all returned at least once a year since. Our dreams came true in 2018 when we found Aelwyd Y Don. We and the house look forward to your return. Property Owner
