The property

Kilgetty 3.3 miles.

Nestled amongst the stunning countryside of Pembrokeshire, on the outskirts of Ludchurch near Kilgetty is this welcoming semi-detached dwelling, The Annex.

Boasting fabulous views over the rolling Welsh hills and within easy reach of the delights of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this is a delightsome setting for a couple wanting a rural escape.

Upon arriving at the property, you will be delighted by its remote setting and panoramic vista, make your way inside to be enveloped by a charming sitting room where you can cuddle up with your loved one in front of the TV and reward yourself with a glass of wine after a day of exploration.

After unwinding in the sitting room, continue through to the kitchen/diner, where you will find all the essentials required to rustle up those home-cooked favourites; savour a romantic meal with your loved one at the close-by dining table, as you catch up about your coastal adventures.

As the day draws to a close, snuggle up with your partner in the double room as you enjoy a well-deserved rest.

In the morning, prep yourself in the fantastic bathroom's corner bath with shower over.

The private garden is situated across the way and is the perfect spot for an alfresco meal, you can also follow its footpath into the close-by woodland and venture to the beautiful Colby Woodland Garden; an excellent place for walking with your furry friend.

The Annex benefits from having a convenience store and pub situated under three miles from the property; but if you wish to access your amenities in one place, venture to the peaceful village of Kilgetty.

Saundersfoot is a superb outing, with its long stretch of sands being the ideal location for sunbathing or watersports; spend the day strolling around the harbour and embarking on a boat trip or go crabbing in its waters.

Head further inland to picturesque town of Narberth and learn of the town's history in the Narberth Museum, play a spot of golf a the close-by Herons Brook Leisure Park, and trek through the ruins of Narberth Castle.

Further afield lies the harbour town and resort of Tenby, a place home to twin beaches and the fascinating Tudor Merchant's House; why not board the boat and sail through the waters to Caldey Island?

There is so much more to experience with your partner along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, from the extensive St. Brides bay to the bustling towns of Pembroke and Milford Haven.

For your next memorable break in South Wales, choose The Annex.

About the location

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.

Please note that there is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £150. You may be issued with charges up to this amount if there are any damages sustained at the property.
