  • "We had a fantastic time at this property with our children and grandchildren plenty of room to accommodate us all the and the hot tub was a big hit."

The hosts even took us around the farm and the grandchildren enjoyed seeing the animals . Close to the coast so many places to explore .

  • "A real gem of a place!"

We felt instantly at home , it was peaceful and comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Number 2. The icing on the cake being the hot tub which has left us exploring the possibility for one at home! The property is well situated for a peaceful break but close enough to the amenities and places one would want to visit and explore. On the days weather was pretty rough we opted to stay in and relax watching a film, reading etc in the very comfortable lounge area! The hosts Clare and Stephen were very friendly and helpful. Already thinking of a return visit!

  • "Place was beautiful and clean."

If I had any negatives it would be more privacy for the hot tub. I was chilling in the tub with numerous cars, tractors driving past, quite a few some days, a small piece of fencing would eradicate them seeing you. On checkout rushing to get all the washing up done and put away seems a bit excessive, we all had breakfast in preparation for our long journey, we had to strip beds, clean through, load car etc and clear all the washing up. I’ve never stayed anywhere where we’ve had to do this. We’ve normally loaded dishwasher and put it on, I think while we want to enjoy our holiday we didn’t really need that before we departed.

  • "The property was lovley and clean and a great base for us to visit the area, with pleanty of room for us."

However, the hottub was not clean and therefore not able to use it until our last day, due to them needing to empty it, refill it and heat it, therefore only giving us use of it for a few hours, this was very disappointing as we could have stayed elsewhere for cheaper.

  • "We had an amazing time, the cottage had everything you could possibly need."

First class accommodation, furnished to a very high standard with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The location for us was perfect, with the town of Haverfordwest being just a few minutes away. Also beautiful beaches and an adventure park within a 30 minute drive, we will definitely be returning.

  • "Wow! What a beautiful cottage."

The photos are good but in real life it is stunning. We were a family of 5 adults and one child and plenty of room for all of us to Lounge, relax and sleep. We went for Christmas and had all the necessary equipment for cooking a great dinner. Sofas were comfy and beds were luxurious. All slept really well as so quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to see the farm but full of animals. Hot tub was lovely and relaxing. Hosts were really helpful! Extremely helpful in our case. Thank you! Great base for exploring beaches and the area. We are regulars to west Wales so we’re going to relax but a short drive to stunning coastal areas. We would go back.

  • "Lovely place to stay."

Even though this is a working farm it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Lovely large comfortable beds and plenty of comfy seating to relax in. The property was tastefully furnished and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was an added bonus, even though it can’t be used after 9pm, though a trellis would add a bit of extra privacy. The welcome pack of wine, delicious farm eggs and flowers was a lovely and much appreciated touch. There is plenty to do and see within short travelling distances, lots of lovely walks and superb beaches. This really is a lovely area of Wales for a holiday. Haverfordwest, which is just a short drive away from the property, has plenty of places to eat and we can thoroughly recommend the Bristol Trader. We were a party of 6 and can honestly say their Sunday lunch was the best meal we have ever eaten, though booking is advisable. We had slight difficulties accessing the property initially as the information provided by Sykes was incorrect, so recommend contacting the owners in advance. It’s also worth noting that one of the upstairs bedrooms is galleried and overlooks the main living area as this was something we hadn’t realised from the description. Overall we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

  • "The accommodation was very clean, spacious and furnished to a high standard."

Loads of parking, space and privacy. The hot tub in meadow view was perfect. Steven and Clare were really helpful if we needed them but left us to enjoy our holiday in peace. If I was being extremely picky I would have liked an electric car charging point ( west wales is very short of these) but I would still give this holiday home top rating.
