  • "I think the only drawbacks were lack of washing/drying facilities, but the information sent was upfront about that, and the heated towel rail was a boon in a damp week!"

Very well equipped and attractively furbished. (Oh, we would have appreciated a cafetiere!)

  • "Really enjoyed the location."

The chalet is situated near so many interesting and beautiful spots. We visited a different beach every day! A lovely quiet base to come home to every night but not so far away from necessities liked grocery shops. We so enjoyed watching the birds every morning, especially the local pheasant family that brazenly strutted about. The kids enjoyed the open grassy areas surrounding the chalet to run around and play. We were all very comfortable during our stay. The accommodation was very clean and comfortably furnished. Every facility seemed to have been considered. Just a slight niggle - a solid picnic table would be a great bonus. (Thank you for the fold away one you provided.) We all said we would love to come back again (even the grumpy teenagers) - so thank you for making our stay such a happy and memorable one.

The owner sent us a message on arrival and the instructions were very useful for getting the hot water going. The location is superb with plenty of bays and beaches to explore all within a short drive. A great place for a short getaway.

  • "Freedom Cottage turned out to be a real gem."

We were not sure what to expect this being our very first Sykes holiday. It exceeded all our expectations. Being in the midst of a serious pandemic and finding somewhere to stay for a break away from home was a concern. We need not have worried. We felt safe in this special place, the grounds and tranquillity were perfect. Such a surprise. The cottage/cabin was really well equipped everything we could have wanted. It was cosy and warm and the facilities were ideal, lovingly restored. The fact that guests are not allowed to bring pets on site was a huge bonus too. The location was excellent for hiking and biking with well marked cycle trails for this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. A great experience. Highly recommended. Thank you.

  • "The cabin is in a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire."

The description on the website implies the beach and local shop/pub are in much nearer walking distance than they are. This wasnt a bother to us but may affect people less mobile or without a car. The cabin has pretty much everything you need and the owner is friendly and easy to contact if you need to.
