    Ideal place for touring that side of Pembroke. Everything was catered for. Parking outside was no problem. Owners were very helpful . Will hope to go again in the spring. We hope then to enjoy the glorious garden.

  • "Orielton Cottage is a lovely, comfortable base for a holiday or short break on the North Pembrokeshire coast."

    Alice and Johnny are really helpful and welcoming hosts. Cottage is handily located between Fishguard and Newport, close to two beaches, village shop, pubs and chippy.

  • "What a perfect place to stay, beautiful sunny garden with superb views!"

    Despite being on a main road it was so quiet too. Immaculately clean, lovely gifts on arrival , everything you could need in the kitchen & a full size fridge freezer a great asset ! Plus Nespresso coffee machine a great benefit too The owners are lovely & helpful and happy to help with your every need The walks all around and straight from the doorstep are vast too ! Excellent fish & chip shop a few doors a way two pubs but Sadly not doing food at the moment but are getting new ownership imminently so that may change ! Newport & Fishguard are close by to eat out and the there’s a Great pub 5 minutes down the hill called the sailors safety ! A perfect base for north Pembrokeshire a truly wonderful area of wales !

    Comfortable , clean and welcome pack provided. Having a garden was important for the dog. It did not disappoint. Even though the cottage is on the main road you would not notice - so quiet and relaxing.

    Such a beautiful and well maintained place. It's just like home from home. Everything you need it there. Plenty of places to see and lovely to go back and just relax in the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely go back there. A lovely welcome pack was there for us as well.

  • "We had a wonderful time at Orielton Cottage with our dog Stanley."

    everything you would need for a comfortable cosy break. Beautiful garden which would be perfect if the weather was nice and warm. Beautiful scenery and beaches nearby by, and a good choice of pubs too, The Ship Aground pub doesn’t allow dog btw, but the Freemasons and the Sailors Safety do. Be warned a steep hill walking back from the Sailors Safety but worth it.. We would definitely recommend and would love to return. Thanks for the lovely welcome pack, much appreciated

  • "The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a relaxed holiday."

    The wine and welsh cakes were a lovely touch and we enjoyed them. The garden was a sun trap and our dog loved using it. So did we! The area is wonderful loads of walking and the beaches are all dog friendly and great for swims. Local pubs are good and the fish and chip shop is excellent. It was lovely to meet Alice and Jonny and put a face to our hosts before we left. Would book this cottage again.....brilliant.

As you make your way through the cottage, you will find two bedrooms - a double and a twin, ensuring a quiet place to rest for all.

DINAS CROSS

Newport 2.5 miles.

The village of Dinas Cross has a well stocked grocery shop, two pubs, a fish and chip shop and lies between the Preseli Hills and the Pembrokeshire coast. Cwm-yr-Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod beaches are both short walks away and the three-mile walk around Dinas Head accessed from either beach is one of the finest walks in Wales. Both beaches are ideal for swimming, sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Newport three miles away at the estuary of the river Nevern is a bustling old town with vast beaches and lies at the foot of the mystical mountain Carn Ingli. Fishguard, five miles away is an historic old fishing village on the estuary of the river Gwaun and has many amenities including a cinema, leisure centre and a vibrant music scene which has three festivals devoted to folk, classical and jazz music. Further away is the market town of Cardigan to the north and the historic city of St Davids to the south with its magnificent cathedral and many eating places. There are many good cafes and restaurants in Newport and Fishguard and excellent local produce available at the weekly street market in Newport.
