  • "A cosy home from home feel as soon as you arrive."

Quiet, yet central location that is an excellent base from which to explore Pembrokeshire. Welcome pack was a nice touch and our four legged friends loved the log burner for a curl up snooze. Overall a wonderful, truly relaxing break.

Dear Lorraine, I'm are sorry to hear this. However, the pictures do show the two levels as does the description. The hot is easily adjustable but I will add this to the information sheet. Best wishes Sara Property Owner

  • "Comfortable cottage ideally located for walks to the harbour and coast path."

The comments left by the previous visitor are extremely harsh and very unfair. The cottage does not have the latest flash kitchen or modern furnishings, but it is charming, comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. We found the bed comfortable, with new bedding and the owner left us plenty of towels. The garden is absolutely delightful and we enjoyed morning coffee everyday, entertained by a family of blackbirds! A thoroughly enjoyable stay - thank you for the Welsh Cakes, waffles, jam, bread and milk, a really nice touch and very thoughtful.

Thank you Richard for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed your time in Fishguard and appreciated the cottage and garden. Best wishes Sara and Mike. Property Owner

  • "It smelt awfully the aftershave lotion the day I arrived at the cottage."

It was due to small diffuser plugged in the living room. I guess it was there in order to cover the humidity smell. Those perfume diffusers are unhealthy and they don’t solve the problem of humidity. The sofa and the large bed are both over worn. The heating in the bathroom is under sized. Otherwise the cottage is well protected by the hedges against the views over the parking lot. I left the cottage on Friday morning, a day ahead. For the same price the week before I rented a cottage in Criccieth, twice the size, well maintained, very clean, well equipped. I met the owner and it is nice to know that we, the tourists, are not just a source of money.
