The property

Murmur y mor is a superb four-storey holiday home resting in Fishguard, on the award-winning Pembrokeshire coast.

With sweeping sea views, Murmur y mor is a well-situated base whilst you explore the beauty of Pembrokeshire and the nearby National Park.

The spacious property sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms; a double on the second floor with immaculate views, a double on the first floor as well as two twin bedrooms which allows for flexible sleeping arrangements.

To compliment the bedrooms there is a shower room on both the second and first floor, so guests can get ready in style and wash those sandy feet, as well as a separate WC.

On the ground-floor you will discover a utility room with handy washing machine, perfect for putting swimwear on a spin after a day at the beach.

For an afternoon of fun, head to the games room where you and the family can challenge each other to a game of pool, table football or air hockey, or simply watch the little ones enjoy from the comfort of the sofa.

Look forward to cooking up a storm in the well-equipped second-floor kitchen, as your guests uncork a bottle of wine and set the dining table to tuck-in to a delicious feast.

After a hearty meal, retire to the living/dining room, where you can light the gas fire, put your feet up on the plush leather sofa and unwind in front of your favourite film on the TV.

If you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet, climb the stairs to the third floor, where you will find a cosy room/snug, ideal for escaping reality with your favourite book.

Kick-start your morning with a refreshing shower, before joining your guests on the patio or in the superb summerhouse for coffee.

Explore your local surroundings with a stroll into the town, where you will find a good selection of restaurants and pubs offering scrumptious meals, perfect for those evenings where you don’t feel like cooking.

Wander up to the historic Fishguard Fort with original cannons where you can soak up the impressive views or enjoy fresh fish and chips as you enjoy a leisurely stroll around Fishguard Harbour.

Head to the neighbouring town of Goodwick, which is home to the Sea Trust Aquarium – Ocean Lab, where you can meet the local marine life, take part in guided tours and pick up a souvenir in the gift shop, from here you can walk Goodwick Sea Wall which boasts magnificent views of Fishguard Harbour and Bay.

Continue your adventure with a day trip to St David’s, where you will find the remarkable 12th-century cathedral, the historic St. Non’s Chapel and Well which sits upon the scenic St. Non’s Cliffs, and the picturesque Porthclais Harbour where you can enjoy a bite to eat whilst taking in the beautiful views.

Further afield if the harbour town of Tenby, which makes for a great day out with all the family with its glorious Castle Beach which is perfect for enjoying a paddle or building sandcastles, the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery where you can brush up on the local history or pay a visit to the magnificent National Trust – Tudor Merchant’s House.
