  • "A very well equipped holiday let for our stay."

    Ideal to use as a base to go exploring. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and very handy to have 3 separate bathrooms.

  • "We were given a Mobile No to get the key to the property, this number was unobtainable both by us and your Customer staff, we were then told the key was under the door mat which it wasn't, we were eventually told that there was a key safe in the barn so we gained entry."

    The property was clean, tidy and suited our needs. We had only two niggles, firstly there was no information on how and when we could dispose of our rubbish, secondly in the double room the toilet was in full view of the other room occupants. An welcome pack would be very useful. The surrounding area of large loose cobbles makes the property unsuitable for young children and people with restricted mobility (I am disabled) We had a brilliant holiday plenty of interesting places to visit.

  • "A beautiful location to relax and enjoy the surrounding walks and small town of Usk."

    Remote enough to switch off from the outside world but still be able to get to attractions and other areas easily. Bonnie Barn was beautifully decorated and presented with every detail well thought out, for comfort and practicality. The cleanliness was to an exceptional standard which reassured us in these more anxious Covid times. The owners Arun and Bina were welcoming and ensured throughout the week that we had everything we needed. We would be certain to return and recommend!

The beautiful town of Usk nestles in the gentle Monmouthshire hills along the lovely banks of the River Usk. The town is steeped in history, from the ruins of a Norman castle to the seventeenth century buildings that adorn the cobbled streets. It's like stepping back in time with wonderful antique shops and cosy, friendly tea rooms and yet the more up to date boutiques fit nicely into the leisurely pace of life in this sleepy market town. The golfing courses abound in the area with the spectacular Celtic Manor Golf Course close by where Europe won the Ryder Cup and where all golfers are welcome whatever your handicap.
