“Such a lovely cosy cottage, it really felt like a home from home and had everything we needed.”

    Thanks for a lovely stay.

Thanks for a lovely stay. Might be worth making it really clear that sat nav will try and take you up a dirt track and to follow the directions instead (which are very clear) Thanks

The property

Situated north of Cilgerran in the secluded countryside of Wales, you will find this wonderful, pet-friendly cottage.

This two-bedroom property is perfect for a family looking to experience the rural side of the UK.

On arrival you will be welcomed by the magic of Wales and experience the valleys first-hand, as a pretty stream runs parallel to the cottage.

Entering the home and passing through the hallway, to the left you will find a living room with a TV and woodburner.

To the right of the hallway, you really get a feel for how classical this cottage is, with a traditional-style dining room with beds for your dogs to sleep in, plus a fully equipped kitchen backing onto this with an open-plan layout.

Resting on the first floor are two well-presented bedrooms, hosting a double and a family room with a double and single bed, the ideal setup for friends or families looking to explore this delightful rural area of Wales.

The family bathroom can be found on the ground floor, with an elegant bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

Stepping outside, you'll find an enclosed two-tier garden that has been built into the fascinating Welsh rock face that has a sitting area for you to enjoy.

With parking and bike storage located at the property, there is no excuse to pass up on the neighbouring towns and the scenic walking and cycling routes on offer to you.

The location is perfect for venturing out and exploring the three counties that are in easy reach.

Explore the bustling market town of Cardigan, with its tea rooms, shops, pubs, ruined castle and the Cardigan Island Farm Park.

You can even spot otters playing in the river, birds taking shelter on the ponds and during the spring the woodlands are carpeted with bluebells.

Pembrokeshire National Park and Preseli Hills are within driving distance offering a wild, moorland landscape and the whole of the sweeping Pembrokeshire Coast to indulge.
