  • "The apartment was so clean and comfortable (At first, I thought I must have been in the wrong place, as I never expected to be staying in a place that was so nice)."

Every thing you could ever need was at hand, especially in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wether they wanted a long weekend or a fortnight away. Very close by, you have the wonderful sandy beach, great and well looked after cycle/footpaths, the harbour and a playing field just across the road. *Take a bike with you, you can cycle for miles on the safe cycle/footpath out of town. The bus stops/railway station/shops (including a Co-Op supermarket for all your food etc)/take aways and pubs are a 10 minute walk away. *One tip:- Download the First Bus app onto your smart/iPhone and buy your bus tickets in advance (This will save you money!). For example: A Day Ticket for that area, that gets you to Carmarthen and back is £4.50, instead of £5.00 if you were to pay the driver direct (You can also buy Weekly or Monthly Bus Passes like this too, even for the whole of the south coast or south AND west coast of Wales, if you would like to go further afield). All you do, once you've paid online is scan the QR Code (That will be on your phone's screen) on the bus's machine next to the driver and away you go! Everything is there, nearby to the apartment, you couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

  • "Thank you Chris fo letting us borrow your flat for a week."

It was spotlessly clean and available before the allotted time. There was everything we needed for our holiday. I’ve got mobility problems, so being near the harbour and flat meant that the beaches were accessible. Shame that I’m unable to use the cycle path. The town covers your shopping needs and there are plenty of places around if you don’t fancy cooking. Good weather helps and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the text about traffic problems on the M4 and the welcome pack.

  • "Lovely holiday flat."

Contained everything we needed for a comfortable and easy relaxing stay. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic shower! A little tight in the bedroom with our (large) travel cot, but manageable. Lots of storage space and there was enough space in the lounge for our toddler to play happily. Owner sorted out small problem on our arrival of the keys being missing from key box incredibly swiftly. Lovely location, minutes away from superb sandy beach and coastal path.

  • "The flat was situated on the ground floor of a block ."

It was easy to get into and nicely proportioned and equipped .There was a large screen TV and the reception was excellent for the area. There were two of us occupying a single bed flat .there was plenty of room in the bedroom and the kitchen had all the usual appliances and was very easy to use. We were both a little apprehensive because of the Coronavirus problems ,but we need not have worried .everything was done in compliance with the standing regulations .The property was situated near to the harbour of the small town of Burry Port .It has a very quiet location . It has a large beach and is on the "coastal Path " in both directions...this means that there is ample opportunity to walk for several kilometres in either direction to the nearest towns .the largest is Llanelli .This has a large supermarkets about 3 miles by car Llanelli has a shopping centre and cinema and theatre ..Anyone preferring to cycle there is a convenient "Park and Ride " facility where cycles can be hired .Further afield there are the two seaside resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby about 40 miles away .We thoroughly enjoyed the week in the property and could happily have spent two weeks .Overall the holiday and property could not be faulted

Burry Port is yet to be discovered by tourists only the locals seem to know of its accessible peaceful beaches.A quircky workaday harbour with no pretentions, bearing testament to the industrial past of the area, now reclaimed and regreened. Limited commercial facilities in the immediate area but beautiful seascapes were enough for us. Try the yacht club for a sundowner. Our accommodation was comfortable clean and well equipped and a stones throw from the beach. We will certainly use it when returning to the area.
