  • "We had a fabulous few days on the farm Couldn't fault the accommodation , our hosts or Teggs eggs!"

! Due to the location, it is necessary to use a car every day but you don't need to travel far to find delightful places to visit. Narberth was an unexpected bonus! A constructive comment would be that the deep holes in the road over the bridge could be filled in.We would be happy to stay in Saddlers Cottage again

  • "We have been to this cottage for a week in August and I should say we really enjoyed the visit."

The house is on a large farm with plenty of space around for walking and looking at the animals. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend anyone for a peaceful holiday.

  • "Hosts were really welcoming and explained about the farm and animals and what was accessible."

Granddaughter was delighted-especially with Cwtch. - We knew the cottage wasn't huge but hadn't bargained on the furniture being so big and cumbersome and taking up so much room. The dining table in particular caused a lot of bumps and bruises trying to negotiate around it-especially for my granddaughter who was just a toddler. My son-in -law couldn't get his legs under it. We have stayed in farm cottages before and not had a problem. It was really too small for 4 adults and a toddler. Also beware there is a cockerel.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at Saddler's Cottage."

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Martin and Lavinia were most welcoming and very helpful with local information and places to visit. It was great to meet the animals and all the livestock around the farm too. Great base to explore Pembrokeshire and even the weather was kind to us. Would certainly recommend staying at this property. Jan and Helen

From start to finish we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed and welcomed by everyone including all the animals! My sons loved having them greet us when we arrived back each day, especially the cheeky goats! Thank you for a wonderful week. We can't wait til our stay again next year!

  • "We had a lovely stay at Saddlers Cottage - nice surroundings and a good base to explore the beaches / attractions in the area."

Our two boys Samuel and Theo loved the animals on the farm. Martin & Lavinia were great hosts and couldn't be more helpful. On one very rainy day we visited Folly Farm (20 minute drive away) - on the face of it seems expensive but there is loads to do. Well worth it for families with younger children. We also explored beaches different beaches within a 30 minute drive, Saundersfoot was by far the best one we found. Narberth handy for small shops but if you want a large Tesco / Morrison / Aldi etc then aim for Haverfordwest. All in all a great stay.

  • "Excellent house & hosts."

Very friendly animals, you feel part of the farm. House has everything you need for your stay. Have a few bruises as it’s a tight fit round the furniture and the style of house has lower ceilings. Only other slight negatives would be the tv switches itself off occasionally and the blind in the downstairs toilet is loose and easily mistaken as a light pull so you pull it down. It’s a bit dusty but you are in the middle of fields. The house is well equipped, the hosts even leave you dishwasher tablets and other kitchen cleaning supplies. We bought some eggs from them which were delicious. The location is tucked away and be prepared for close brushes with other vehicles as most roads are single lane but most people are courteous and friendly. Despite location you are 15-20 mins from Oakwood, Folly Farm and other attractions. Tenby is only 30 mins and there is a shop and pub 5 mins away. Would definitely stay again, didn’t feel like you were intruding on the family who also live on the farm. Perfect if you love goats, dogs, horses & donkeys. Even the cockerel came to say good morning!

  • "Lovely house right in the middle of the farmyard."

The owners were very friendly and as most of the animals were pets they were used to being touched and the children loved being able to stroke them. The owner even left fresh eggs for us on arrival - amazing yellow yolks!

We went for a chill-out week and weren't disappointed. The cottage was warm and comfortable and we were lucky enough to arrive at the beginning of the hottest February week on record. It is situated perfectly for visiting the many places of interest in the surrounding area and the coastline is something not to be missed. Martin is very knowledgeable about the area and is always willing to advise.I would highly recommend Sadler's for couples and families alike and young children would find the animals fascinating. HOT TIP: take some dog treats for Buwch and you will have a friend for life..........

Nothing has changed since our last visit. The location is absolutely perfect for access to all of Pembrokeshire. There are plenty eating and drinking establishments within a short drive and the A40 is within ten minutes from the farm. Martin and Lavinia are ideal hosts and will do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The farm is delightful and open for exploring. Altogether a satisfying and delightful experience.
