The cottage itself is perfect, nice and spacious with everything you could think to need and absolutely spotless! The hot tub is a massive bonus! The location is great, just a few minutes walk to pubs, restaurants and shop and then a short drive to Tenby and other local attractions. I can’t recommend this cottage enough!

The cottage is well set out with everything you'll need for a few days/week away with only a short walk in to the town. The town has some very nice pubs and restaurants. There are some lovely scenic walks local from the cottage. Plus the reward of a dip in the hot tub on your return. Would love to visit again.

The location in Laugharne is great to get out and explore the surrounding areas. We stayed as a family of 4 with 1 dog and we had a fabulous break away.

  • "We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend the cottage and Laugharne."

Our only suggestions for improvement would be an extra toilet roll, more kindling/wood for the burner and oddly the back support cushions for the sofa seem to have been removed. There were scatter cushions but perhaps this is something to rectify.

  • "A nice cosy cottage right on the edge of the village, easy to walk into the centre of Laugharne and all the Dylan Thomas places."

Quaintly decorated, with all modern facilities such as a large TV, two sofas and a hot tub in the pretty courtyard garden, if that’s your thing. Milk in fridge when we arrived, with tea, coffee and welsh cakes, which is a kind touch from Janet, the owner. Although it’s right on the main road into Laugharne, we really didn’t notice the traffic, and night time was quiet anyway. We were generally wakened in the morning by birdsong not traffic noise, which is fine by us! The dropped kerb to the parking space is tight, but we soon got used to the technique to avoid bumping tyres on the edge.

Figured the hot tub out eventually getting the different jets to work, and the bed is a bit soft for my liking, But other wise the place was lovely. I would rate it a 8.5/10 I would recommend and return here.

The hot tub was sensational and so easy to use. Welsh cakes and shortbread on arrival as well as treats and towels etc. for the dog, also a very comprehensive selection of basic larder essentials.should you need them, all very much appreciated. Laugharne, alone, is a magical place where one can't fail to be mesmerised by the castle and the peaceful tranquillity of a stroll along the sparkling estuary, but there is a wealth of lovely beaches and places to explore while staying at this cosy cottage. Thank you, Janet and Anna, I would love to come back again.. It's great having a washing machine, but might it be possible to fix a little retractable clothes line outside to dry a few items of clothing?

Even a welcome pack, which was a real bonus after a long drive from West Cornwall.Beds were very comfortable as was the lounge area.Laughane is a lovely place to visit and most places are very dog friendly, whilst the weather wasn't all that good we enjoyed our stay and visited quite a few places. For anyone looking for a good restaurant meal would also recomend Arthurs in the Grist, especially if you are a dog owner, food and service is first class.Only one small criticism of the cottage,in that, you need to be very careful when getting out of the cottage parking space as it is on a well used road with a limited view of traffic coming down the hill, having said that it in no way spoiled our stay.

  • "Nice cottage but on a busy road that the listing failed to mention."

Cottage was clean and comfortable and a nice welcome pack was provided. We booked late but everything was handled well apart from a problem with the Sykes web page having nowhere to input my discount voucher code and then Sykes refusing to allow the discount which they could clearly see I was in possession off before the booking...Sykes you need to be more flexible in this regard as your marketing strategy of mailing these vouchers prompted me to chose you to book but I'd have second thoughts next time I get a voucher sent. This aside the cottage was nice (small but nice) and provided a lovely base to explore the coast.
