Stairs lead up to the first-floor sitting room, a lovely light and airy space with a superb leather corner sofa and the stunning aspect of a small balcony where you can sit and relax soaking up the view; catch up with your loved ones as you chat on the sofa, or perhaps savour a moment of peace while admiring the view of the castle and lake from the balcony.

Also on this floor is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, while climbing the stairs to the second floor, you can choose from a further two bedrooms, a double and a twin.

The south-facing position of the home means there is full use of natural sunlight throughout the rooms, offering a delightful space to make yourself at home within the living areas and bedrooms.

Ideally positioned for exploring Pembrokeshire with a wealth of beautiful beaches within a short drive, visit world famous Barafundle Bay (5m), Freshwater East (3.5m) and Broad Haven South, walking round the Lily Ponds from Bosherston is well worth the effort, you can always enjoy a drink at St Govans Inn or afternoon tea at the Olde Worlde Tea Rooms in the village of Bosherston.

Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, only 100 yards from the house, to really appreciate this stunning coastline, taking in the Green Bridge of Wales and the tiny 6th-century St Govans Chapel, built into the cliffs.

Freshwater West, popular with surfers and the backdrop for the blockbuster movies Robin Hood and Harry Potter, is one of the wildest beaches in Wales; enjoy refreshments from the famous Café Mor, a converted boat above the beach, serving seafood and traditional Welsh recipes with a trendy twist flavoured with seaweed.

West Angle Bay is also within easy reach, where super woodland and coastal walks can be enjoyed, and the bird life is sure to enthrall.

Keen kayakers will enjoy exploring the caves and cliffs from Stackpole Quay, where there is a popular seasonal café, or you can visit the popular Stackpole Inn for food.

There is easy access to a number of seaside villages and towns including Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and Saundersfoot to the east or west over the Cleddau estuary to the Dale Peninsula.

For those seeking a slower pace throughout their stay, there is a level walk around the Castle Lake and adjoining Mill Pond right next to the house.
