Great base from which to explore the local area Reviewed by AngelaJun 2022 "Property is excellently situated close to the heart of Pembroke and its many amenities." The pre-arrival instructions were very clear and detailed, and on arrival the property was immaculate, clean and well equipped. The car parking space was essential and although a bit tight (next to a column) our Astra fitted fine. It's proximity to pubs and eateries was a huge bonus, and we had two excellent meals at the closest place, The Watermans Arms. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your comments, The car park space is a standard size single and our Volvo V90 Estate just fits, but anything wider than that might struggle. There is a large public car park in Pembroke which costs £25 for a week if anybody has a very large car / camper or wishes to bring a second car on holiday with them. Property Owner Reviewed by HelenMay 2022 "Really comfortable stay at Castle View." Everything we needed was provided and the property was spotlessly clean. Perfect location for exploring Southern Pembrokeshire. Very good choice of places to eat in Pembroke and the surrounding villages. Particularly liked Stackpole Inn with wonderful food and nearby walks to Barafundle Bay and Bosherton Lakes and lily ponds. We would return to Castle View without hesitation. Reviewed by PaulMay 2022 "Lovely modern apartment which was clean/tidy, with all the necessary appliances." Everything felt new / barely used. Property owners were friendly and helpful. Tesco, aldi, McDonald’s, b&m and kfc only 5 mins away…petrol station 30 seconds away. Plenty of local takeaways, pubs and Co-op just a few minutes walk from the apartment. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire. So much to see and do in the area for myself, my partner and 8 year old. We will definitely be back as we didn’t tick everything off our to do list, and we would happily stay at Castle View again. Thank you for the positive feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The hot water system is a modern, mains pressure, electrically heated system, with a very large capacity 180L hot water tank. This has been serviced in February 2022 to ensure ongoing reliable operation for our guests. Property Owner Reviewed by AlanMar 2022 "Perfectly located, easy access to town and environs." In fact we were so comfortable there that we checked if this property was going to be empty following our week, it was, because had it not been we might have tried to bag another week. No hesitation in recommending Castle View. The welcome pack was very good and the apartment and facilities provided were excellent . It is very central for exploring the surrounding area and would also be good just stay in the cottage and relax . The welcome pack of milk, jam and Welsh cakes was very welcome! The apartment is well situated to explore Pembroke with plenty of takeaway/pub food options nearby. Reviewed by CatherineAug 2021 "Lovely property pictures really don’t do it justice, very clean & everything you could need including milk, bread, butter, welsh cakes & jam on arrival - lovely touch." Very well placed for places to eat including the lovely cafe next door (Corn store) who do tasty breakfast rolls and very naughty cakes, brilliant Chippy (Rowlies) and fab pizza place (Peppees) and 2 nice pubs with really friendly staff, However on saying all this it is based in a small quiet place overlooking Pembroke Castle. Parking is provided but spaces are snug, there is also a pay and display car park only a few minutes walk. We will definitely go back as we really enjoyed our stay - thanks Ben & Sarah Reviewed by KarenAug 2021 "A lovely little apartment that is well placed to explore the local area." It was clean, comfortable and well stocked (nothing more annoying than staying in a self catering cottage that only supplies 1 toilet roll and no washing up liquid). Be aware if you have a large car that the allocated parking space might be a bit tight. Highly recommend eating at The Waterman’s Arms (just across the road) and ordering takeaway from Rowlie’s Fish & Chips and Peppe’s Pizza (warning, the portions are huge!). A trip to Barafundle Bay is a must (approx 15 min drive) but be sure to get there early to secure a place in the car park, rarely any spaces left after 10am! Reviewed by BenAug 2021 "The apartment was excellent, very well equipped to a high standard." Location was excellent, within a short distance to the castle, pubs/restaurants and walks around the millpond. We would highly recommend this apartment. Reviewed by RobertJul 2021 "This was our first trip to Pembrokeshire and Castle view was the ideal location for us to stay in." The flat itself is beautiful. Has all the facilities you could possibly need (personally I love the fact it has a washer/dryer as we have come home with no washing to do). Beds were very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space for your clothes. It was lovely to arrive to a fresh loaf of bread, milk and some Welsh cakes too. The location of the flat is ideal, perfect for getting to Tenby, Saundersfoot and also getting north to Broad Haven. Step out of the flat and the views of the castle are lovely. Couple of local pubs that do nice homemade food and they are so welcoming. The fish and chip shop round the corner is the best we have had. Overall it was a perfect break for our family which was much needed. Ben and Sarah were so helpful before and during our stay. We will definitely return.
