The property

Holly Cottage enjoys a wonderfully central position in the medieval town of Pembroke, boasting a single-storey layout and enclosed garden.

This lovely Pembrokeshire dwelling is perfect for a family holiday to South Wales, with award-winning beaches just a simple drive away, along with many family-friendly attractions in the surrounding area.

Be welcomed in through the front door and down the hall, into the kitchen/diner where you can flick the kettle on and prepare a post-adventure snack, with a good range of appliances in the fitted kitchen for rustling up your favourite dishes, and a dining table to bring the group together for mealtimes.

From here, make your way into the sitting room, boasting a sofa and an armchair, you can unwind into your evening here with the gas fire providing extra warmth as you enjoy a film on the TV.

On sunnier days, spend time out in the lovely enclosed garden, providing a great space for your dog to stretch their legs, and for your group to delight in alfresco dining on the patio, games and fun on the lawn, or evening drinks on the rear decking on a balmy evening.

Back in the house off the main hallway, discover two excellent bedrooms to rest in, both home to double beds and TVs, along with plenty of storage for your things, while a shared family bathroom offers a lovely spot to freshen up in.

The town of Pembroke is on your doorstep, with a short stroll bringing you up close with Pembroke Castle, an imposing and historic building overlooking Mill Pond and birthplace of Henry Tudor, definitely a Pembroke attraction not to be missed!

Hire a rowboat to go out on Mill Pond on a sunny afternoon, before unpacking a picnic in Lower Common Park or choose from the awesome selection of cafés and restaurants.

Make your way to Pembroke Dock and visit the heritage centre here before heading to the harbour, with plenty of opportunities for fishing charters from here.

A host of fun-filled adventure parks and theme parks lie in the surrounding area including Heatherton World of Activities, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Dinosaur Trail, Oakwood Theme Park, and Bluestone Adventure Centre.

All ages are sure to enjoy a trip to Manor Wildlife Park, home to tigers, rhinos, red pandas, and many more.

Venture over to the coast when the sun is shining and head to the likes of Tenby and Saundersfoot, both offering fantastic sandy beaches.

Embark on an exciting Saundersfoot Sea Safari and head out onto the water in the hopes of catching sight of seals, dolphins, minke whales and basking sharks, or admire the beautiful sea views as you play a round of golf at Tenby Golf Club.
