It was lovely to sit by the wood burner each night but a poker would have been handy! Reviewed by LesleyMay 2022 "Longsdon is a charming time capsule." It has the most beautiful original features, and the furniture and floorings are in keeping with the house. If you are looking for laminate flooring and IKEA cabinets then you will find this not to your taste. We found Longsdon absolutely wonderful. The whole house is so spacious, the garden is a delight with so much space even our German Shepherd Dog had ample enough room to really run around. Sitting outside in the morning with a coffee is the perfect start to the day. Sitting outside in the evening as it grows darker is the perfect ending. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful coastline. So many beaches and coves withing 20 minutes drive. Lovely walks through the countryside. A short walk into town. We had a problem with the Aga while we were there, but it was rectified immediately, and we found the owner and caretaker very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back to Longsdon. We had a wonderful week there. We fell in love with the house and gardens. Reviewed by TerenceMar 2022 "Really enjoyed our stay." The home has an old shakiness charm to it and it’s in a good location, it’s around 30 minute drive to anywhere you would like to visit in the Pembrokeshire area. There is no hair dryer though so remember pack your own! Reviewed by EllieFeb 2022 "The location is brilliant; you seem to be 1/2 hour from anywhere you might want to go." Stunning coastlines. First impressions of the property was of being in need of some TLC, and internal updating; however. Loads of space inside, complete with a snug if you need to get away. The Aga takes a bit of getting used to, (there is a really useful recipe book), but provides lots of hot water for the wonderfully big bath and warmth in the kitchen. Everywhere inside is clean, the sofas and beds are really comfortable. Loads of logs for the wood burner in the lounge; very cosy on a damp Autumn evening. The garden is a great size and enclosed. You are not overlooked. Really good value for money. Left there destressed and refreshed. Recommend a trip to Tenby in the sunshine. Would we come back. Yes. Reviewed by NeilNov 2021 "We had a fantastic stay at Longsdon." It was really clean and comfortable. We were spoilt for space, the kids loved the garden and plenty of wood was provided so we could enjoy the cosy fire in the evenings.
