  • "- Great communication leading up to and during our stay - everything that we needed was provided (except the weather) - no problem experienced with on street parking - Kidwelly is a great base for touring not only by car, but with the added benefit of train."

  • "We had a lovely extended stay at ty'r ystrad while waiting to move into our house."

It was just like being in our own home. The house was lovely clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house is walking distance to the local coop, center of kidwelly and the castle. Ed was quick to answer any questions. We didn't have a problem with the on street parking and always parked easily close to the door. Thankyou for a wonderful stay .

and could get a tad noisey at times with the barking. parking is hit and miss if you get parked outside or halfway up the street. Kidwelly itself once you`ve done the castle and Quay you will have to drive everywhere.

House was fabulous. Spotlessly clean. Had everything in it you could wish for. Definitely home from home. Nice enclosed garden for our dog and if you had children with you. Owner very helpful with any enquiries and easy to communicate to. Would definitely recommend this property. Kidwelly nice old town with some lovely walks especially around the castle.

  • "The house was lovely, real home from home."

The children and the dog enjoyed the garden. The weather was mixed but when it was nice it was hot, even spending a couple of days on the beach at Pembury Country Park. The kids went horse riding there, they enjoyed the play area and the miniature railway. Lovely place for a picnic, either on the beach or the lovely country garden setting. Kidwelly itself was nice but quiet, we loved the castle, some nice little quirky eating places. Visited the Blue Lagoon water park, which is on a holiday site, you have to book ahead, this was very busy, but the kids loved it. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The house far exceeded our expecations with a wonderfull kitchen and bathroom, better than ours at home. The house was very well furnished with all you could need. The weather was exceptional so we could explore the area from Tenby to the Gower but still did not have time to see it all. This is a house and area that we would like to return to in the future
