"There was a sharp edge to the bed base on which I caught my leg took about 3 inches of skin off, Pharmacist in Kilgetty helped, but it meant we returned home one day early."
Spoiled the holiday.
Good Afternoon, I apologise for the last response, I have only just seen your feedback. All the furniture in the property is brand new and the bases of the beds are covered in material and cushioning for added protection to our guests, but I will get this checked over. Thank you for raising our attention to this. Property Owner

"Very disappointing."
Awful beds. 2 big dips & lump in-between. Disgusting state. Second bed was better if you lay on one area. Bedrooms very overlooked being on big housing -estate. lLounge dreary as faced small garden surrounded by very high dull grey fence-like a prison with awful plastic flowers. Waste bins piled in puddles of water. Kitchen & furniture fine. We did not use cooker or microwave. We took our own towels. Bathroom had very small shower cubicle & no toilet roll-holder-otherwise fine. This is the 3rd holiday cottage for us this summer & never told to strip beds into plastic bags We paid for house -keeping & not expected to be told what to do by e-mail or endless notices pinned about the house & garden with instructions for every minute. If you are so afraid of Covid-19 then don't let your house for holidays. We did not feel welcome in the house. We had a lovely week around in Pembrokeshire but we would not reccomend this place. We will visit Pembrokeshire next year & hopefully enjoy a better place to stay.

"This is a great bungalow on a small development and ideally placed for visiting the area around."
The bungalow itself is an absolute credit to the owners, the beds are very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had each night. The bungalow is spotlessly clean and the outside area also. We have enjoyed our stay here and have visited places such as Tenby, Saundersfoot, St Davids, the Welsh Botanical Gardens plus various small beaches along the way. Ideal for a couple with a young child. Would definitely stay there again. There is also a local Co-op Store nearby for anything you need.

"The cottage was immaculately clean when we arrived."
There was sanitiser at the entrance and in the dining area. There were clear instructions on waste disposal and sufficient bags provided.
The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped. The lounge diner is large and comfortable. The master bedroom is very large and the second bedroom just large enough for a 3/4 bed but this was made clear on the details. The bathroom has got a shower cubicle and bath with overhead shower.
The heating is very efficient and very easy to adjust if too hot/cold.
The bungalow is in a quiet location and in very good condition.
Kilgetty is an excellent location either to head south west to Saundersfoot, Tenby and the coast to Manorbier, Freshwater East, Stackpole, Broadhaven and Freshwater West. It is equally easy to head west and north to Marloes, St Davids, Fishguard and the Preseli Hills. The cottage has many leaflets outlining attractions and places to eat/food deliveries. it is an excellent base to explore Pembrokeshire.
The owners contacted us as soon as we booked and provided helpful information.
We do not hesitate to strongly recommend this property as ideal for 3 people.

"This is the perfect holiday accommodation."
The bungalow is immaculate throughout and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is very private. The garden attracts the sun and is a perfect place to relax after a day out in Pembrokeshire. The town of Kilgetty has everything you need for a self-catering holiday and is located central to many of the places of interest in the County. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area, do not hesitate to book this accommodation. The owners go above and beyond to ensure that you have a relaxing stay and communication with them was first rate. I only wish all holiday accommodation was as excellent as Kilgetty Heights.

"In general very good, nice and clean."
Just a suggestion: hooks needed on back of bedroom doors, extra coffee table needed ( due to lounge layout), fridge was far too small for a self catering holiday. This did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday though.
Apart from this, everything was fine.

"We had a great time at Kilgetty Heights."
The cottage is almost brand new at the time of writing (Summer 2020), which is great as everything was in good working order. It's on a very quiet street. There isn't much going on in the village of Kilgetty itself although it does have a good fish and chip shop; it's only 5-10 mins drive from Saundersfoot and Tenby though and is well placed for lots of the other beaches and attractions. Would recommend and definitely visit again!

"What a wonderful few days at Kilgetty Heights!"
! All safety procedures following Covid19 were spot on!!....from the sanitising station outside the property on arrival to all others around the home(masks, gloves, sanitiser, handwash, wipes) was a wonderful touch to make us feel welcome and safe. The house was comfy and clean and met all our needs perfectly for our break after lockdown restrictions were lifted! Ideally located for trips to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Amroth and Pembrokeshire! It's set in a nice quiet area with a local shop, fish shop and Pub which is ideal. We enjoyed most evenings relaxing in the wonderful garden which is led out to by large patio doors. Lots of lovely touches in the house also as in takeaway menus, maps, places of interest, DVDs and books were a great asset! Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again. A big thankyou to the owners who kept in touch regarding different arrival times and expectations regarding Covid19 and answered anything we needed to know promptly . Definitely recommend to family and friends this wonderful property xx

"Kilgetty heights far surpassed our expectations, we made the booking last minute to have some repair work completed on one of the bathrooms in our care home, meaning one of our residents was accompanied by support staff throughout the stay."
The home was so fully equipped it made the transition quick and comfortable.
Booking was so straightforward, within the hour it was confirmed we could stay, starting later that day.
The property is in a great location and the owners have really put alot of effort into the small details for tourists which, although we only came from a few miles away in pembroke dock we were really impressed.
They have created the ideal home from home environment for their guests and we would be more than happy to use again.

"Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire."
Very clean, and spacious for the 2 of us. Appears to accommodate 4 persons, and 2 cars.
Kitchen well equipped and includes a washing machine.
Lovely and warm without the need to fiddle about adjusting heating.
Kilgetty is okay. Co-op expensive, but there’s a Sainsbury’s in Tenby and local fruit, veg and butchers in Narberth.
The pub is easy to walk to, but it’s your proper village pub, ‘spot & sawdust’ rather than some characterless gastro pub. So no food. We loved it.
Fish & chips has its own cafe. Loved that too.
The recommended walk to Wisemans Bridge is lovely. Two tips. Be prepared to queue at the pub, it’s really popular, and it’s uphill on the way back.
Foodwise, the Royal Oak in Saundersfoot is better.
Couple who own the property send you a nice welcome email, and it was useful.
A great 4 day break at s lovely location. Highly recommend.
