The property

Resting in the picturesque village of Kilgetty in South Wales, less than three miles from the stunning coast in Laurelee, a superb three-bedroom bungalow offering off-road parking and a charming garden perfect for sitting out in the sun.

Ideal for a family or group of friends looking to explore South Wales and its glorious and varying landscapes, Laurelle provides a real homely feel for your next break.

Arriving at the property, park the car and step into the sitting room where you will find a good-sized Smart TV, perfect for catching up on your favourite TV shows as you sink into the sofas after a long day of exploring.

From here, make your way to the kitchen/diner and help the chef of the group whip up tasty meals to be enjoyed at the dining table; the kitchen hosts stylish integrated appliances including an electric oven and hob, with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine located in the utility room for your convenience.

As the evening draws to a close, you will be pleased to find three well-appointed bedrooms where you can rest your eyes.

The ground floor hosts all bedrooms and bathrooms making it ideal for a multigenerational family, including a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a double and a twin, all of which are fitted with plenty of storage for your belongings.

There is also a bathroom, so you can choose to soak your muscles in a bubble bath after a tiresome day of exploring, along with a shower over, a basin and a WC.

Completing the property is a wonderful garden, adding plenty of character to the bungalow; mature shrubbery encompasses the patio, offering a secluded feel to the space, perfect for savouring your morning coffee.

Treat your loved ones to a meal out; a short walk will take you to Seven Spice, boasting delicious Indian cuisine for dining in or taking out, or you can venture into Saundersfoot to dine at one of many eateries such as Stonecrab for fresh seafoood.

The nearby town of Saundersfoot has a plethora of things to do for the family; you can spend a whole day at the sweeping sandy beach, taking part in some watersports and swimming, or even just sunbathing and enjoying an ice cream.

If you like to explore, Wisemans Bridge is a fascinating landmark, tucked away on the shores.

Try your hand at stand up paddle boarding with Good Trails Stand Up Paddle Boarding, who offer guides tours and lesson no matter your level of experience.

If you are travelling with younger guests or animal lovers, inland you can visit Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, which is a short car ride from the bungalow and fun for all the family.

Further afield is the thriving town of Tenby, or slightly further again is the county town of Haverfordwest, where you will find plenty more shops, pubs restaurants and cafés to fuel your excursions.

Laurelee is a wonderful base whether you are staying in or going out.

About the location

KILGETTY

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
